Had the surgery yesterday and I feel wonderful. I'm still in hospital and will probably go home tomorrow. I'm also 66 years of age and can't believe I feel so good. My problem is that clear protein they are giving me. It is gagging me terribly. Are there any alternatives I could suggest to my doctor. Anything???? HELP!!!

I will be having conversion surgery from lapband to gastric sleeve on next week. I know this will be difficult because of the conversion but I'm also 66 years old. Is there anyone else that is as ancient as I and how was it? I also need a good recommendation on a good clear protein drink for the week after surgery. Please help.

Now I'm afraid I am having the lap band conversion to sleeve surgery. Not crazy about pain. I'm also 66...afraid I won't spring back so easily. Anymore help on handling the post op pain is appreciated.
