Little Shane is still in the NICU. They had to put in a feeding tube as he needs some help with feedings. He has hardly nursed so they had no choice but the tube him. At first they had the rate up to high so he was vomiting everything up. They have since turned it down so hopefully he will get stronger soon. I appreciate all of your kind words and prayers sent his way. I wish I could be in Colorado to see him. Here is a picture from this afternoon.

Today is my bandaversary!!! One year ago today I changed my life. It has not always been easy in fact sometimes it has been pretty darn hard! But I have to say it has been well worth every minute of it!! Happy Bandaversary to all of you too!!

Please say a prayer for my brand new nephew Shane. He was born yesterday at 37 weeks. He is in the NICU as his blood sugar is really low. They fear his pancreas may not be working properly.

Thanks Cubs! That is so nice of you to say! I finally broke down and went to the store to purchase some new pants. Size 12! I hope they do not remain at my house for long but it is sure nice to wear them today! Yay!! My banaversary is the 4th. I cannot beleive it has been a year! I am looking freakin good as compared to last year! ha! Your salmon sounds sooo good! I am so hungry now! When can I come over for dinner? I sure hope you live close so I do not have to drive very far! hahahaha

Wow - sounds similar to my ex-husband! How frustrating!! Thinking about you Susan! So sorry about your toe! I really need to do the measurement notebook. I am just coming out of a very long stall. It would have been nice to have my measurements! My doctor took measurements before surgery but we always forget to look at them. What a great story! Thanks for sharing! Lu - hope your ankle is better! Now for me - I went and purchased some new clothes in size 12 last night. It feels so nice have something that fits even though I hope it will not be for long! lol I still see pictures of me and just see FAT even though I have lost so much. I frustrate myself! I am going to start the couch to 5k I think. I need to get moving more. Now to update FaceBook. I hope you all are having a GREAT day!

I am nearing my banaversary! 85 pounds down! I feel soooo much better! I look a lot better too! I have changed my life.

I need new clothes! I hate to buy stuff since I do not plan to be wearing them long. I think I may head over to Goodwill or something.

Hi All, I have really been down for the past few months. I have been thinking that I can't work my band. I have not lost any weight over that period and was really beating myself up. Well I decided to get my butt into the doctors for a fill. The only thing standing in my way was well....ME!! hahaha So I has a fill yesterday and am recommitting to my band. I have to remember that I have lost 85 pounds! That is incredible! I could never have done that and kept it off without my band. If I didn't have my band and went through the last few months I would have surely gained and thankfully I did not. So the down side for me so far is that if I stop eating right I just do not lose - but I also do not gain! So I am in the process of an attitude readjustment. I can do this - I will do this. Anyway - I hope everyone is having a great day! Thanks for listening!

Hi Everyone! I have been gone for awhile so I thought I would pop in to say hello. Our banniversary is rapidly approaching! I just had a fill today to try to kick start some more weight loss. I have not been a very good girl the last few months. Time to get re committed to my band. I hope you all are doing well....GROOVY!

I like bats too. I need to find a bat house so I can get them to move out of the attic. I am sure the home owners association will have a problem with a bat house though.

I am frazzled! I started school again. My youngest daughter moved out of the house this morning. Heading for Texas. She left at 4:30 am. I cried for two hours. I am so happy no one has asked me to my face today about how do I like my empty nest. It sucks. I want my kids back!! I know it is time for me to put on my big girl pants and grow up. I just want a few days to mourn the passing of this period in my life. I have spend the last 20 years with my kids and now they are gone. I want my pity party!!!

Hopefully you all can help me get an attitude readjustment! Brandy chased me down on Facebook! She must have felt a disturbance in the force!
