Well my band is weird again today. I have not felt hungry like last week. I had some tomato soup for lunch (at noon) about 1/4 cup and two bites of seafood salad. It is 3 now and I still feel full. Just weird!! I was down a pound this morning. ~ 207

Thanks! Hopefully by my next appointment on the 11th I will have this figured out.

I share your thoughts! My husband and grandfather were on the force. I love professional good guys.

Since I have Facebook AND MySpace.... Initially I signed up to keep an eye on my teenage daughters who use the sites. But since them I use the sites to keep in touch with friends and family, post pictures to share, chat, listen to music...etc. It is fun and addicting! :tongue2:

When I met my husband it was one of the reasons I admired him so much. He also looked really good in his uniform and gun! hahahaha

I am confused and need advise. For the last week I have been hungry every two hours. This hunger starts about mid morning and lasts until I fall asleep. It doesnt matter what I eat - I am hungry again in 2 hours. Today was different - I was not hungry all day. In fact I was so busy at work I did not eat at all until dinner at 6pm. I drank one Fresca at work and that is it. I know this is bad for me and I have not done this in a long time. At dinner I had about 4 oz of steak and 5 bites of mashed potatoes. I felt very full after this meal. I also had 6 almonds about 30 minutes ago. I ate this not out of hunger but because they put the come hither on me. My band did not like them at all. My stomach is still gurgling! lol That is all I have had today. Do I need a fill or what? I was sure that I needed one yesterday and now I am not so sure. Has anyone had this happen to them before??

Yeah! I think I would wear them 24/7! lol I can not wait until I am in a single digit size. :whatchutalkingabout

I know you are right, I am just so darn impatient! lol I want to lose the weight and I want to do it NOW!! I want my magic fairy princess to come here and grab me out of this recliner, wave her wand, sprinkly me with fairy dust and.....I transform magically. I have waited for her to arrive for the last two weeks and so far it is not working! I guess I will have to be my own magic fairy princess or Knight in shining armor - I have to save myself by moving my a$$. There is no other way around it. :whatchutalkingabout

I really do feel so much better. I have a lot of energy and look loads better. I still have a long way to go but I have the rest of my life to get there! I didnt get this way overnight so I have to just tell myself to chill out! I get so impatient for weight loss. I want it ALL and I want it NOW! lol If I think about it I can really say that I am a goof ball. You will do well! I am cheering for you! Just rock your band!!:whatchutalkingabout

8 months post op today. I weighed in at 208 this morning. :cursing:

Good morning everyone! I am at my 8 month baniversary today and have lost 72 pounds. I actually started dieting in January before I decided to get my band. Since my surgery I am down 52 pounds. I am in desperate need of a fill as I am hungry every two hours no matter what I eat. I have one scheduled on the 11th. I am not exercising as I should. It is cold and dark when I get home. Lately I have just felt like sitting on the couch and watching tv when I get home from work. I need to kick start my motivation! I really want to be under 200 pounds!

I really think I need a fill. I am getting humgry every two or three hours. It stinks! I hope I do not gain weight. Bummer. I have an appointment for a fill on the 11th. I have to try and be strong with my eating choices until then.

I was banded April 4, 2008. The fill does not hurt hardly at all - just a little pinch. I have had about 6 fills. I can tell when I need a fill because I get so hungry between meals. I have been hungry every two hours. My doctor has me do liquids for two days followed by mushies for two days after each fill. I am just tired of being sooooo hungry! lol I cannot wait until the 11th!

I am not offended at all. No worries. :cursing: I understand your feelings. Most traffic cops would rather be looking for bad guys and in fact they pull one over for a traffic infraction. Traffic cops actually find additional and more serious offenders once they pull some people over. My husband hated giving law abiding people silly tickets. There is a big problem with departments judging the officers productivity by the number of traffic tickets they write. It is not called a quota but some departments do use the "productivity" number to gauge weather a officer is a hard worker or lazy.

I am so sad you have such a poor opinion of cops! :cursing: Being a traffic cop is one of the most dangerous jobs you can have. My husband is a retired officer having served 22 years. He was shot in the leg with a 357 and nearly killed by a drunk driver who ran a stop sign and hit him. He spent 30 days in the ICU and almost did not make it. The drunk driver was killed. Her passenger told the paramedic that they were running stop signs for fun. Thankfully he is retired now and fighting computer crime in an office! lol

Funny! I was a stay at home Mom for a few years and I hardly ever had a chance to read except for right before bedtime. My girls are 18 and 20 now so I cannot use them as an excuse! I just want to be a lady of leisure! hahahaha
