Pre-Op liquid diet question
April_H_68 replied to MsHansy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My doctor just said that I should lose 5-10 pounds before surgery. Since my initial consultation I have actually gained 6 (My grandmother died last weeks and we were with her in the hospital for a couple of weeks and ate nothing but junk). I would like to do a liquid diet before my surgery which is one week from today. Can someone please tell me what a liquid diet consists of? __________________ is true -

I am due to have my lapband done by Dr Sanchez next week. I know 2 people who have used him and had no problems at all. Also, I spent the time in their waiting room in Burlingame speaking to people who had had surgery and only heard good things. Good luck to you. Yvonne __________________ He step away or not -

Possible complications include the risks associated with the medications and methods used during surgery, the risks associated with any surgical . Deflation of the band may alleviate excessively rapid weight loss or oesophageal dilation. Important: Not all contraindications, warnings or adverse events are included in this brief description.
