  1. Happy Birthday MightyQ!

  2. Happy 37th Birthday MightyQ!

  3. Hey Never Again, I feel your pain. After my divorce, I was terrified of women. It took me a long time to start dating again, and then once I started, I took it way way too slow for most women. Lack of physical intimacy ended most of my relationships, but, now I know, I wasn't ready for the physical side of things. Once I started to get some confidence back, after one or two dates, I would let my partners know that I needed to take the physical side of things slowly, without letting them know too much detail. I certainly found that letting women know that it has been a long time since I have had sex, eased my mind, and most were ok with it and very understanding. On another note, I when I met my fiance, things were very comfortable between us right away. With that comfort present, we had a physical relationship right away, and I haven't turned back since. Once you find a girl who is understanding of your feelings, and there is a comfort zone developed, you'll perform just fine. When you let these women know that you need to take things a little slow, some may walk away. I came to realize that the women who walked away, I didn't want anything to do with anyway. Q
  4. Hey Gents, This is day nine post op and I returned to work yesterday. Things are going really well. The plane ride from Toronto home sucked, other than that, recovery has been smooth. I have a small infection in my port site incision which concerns me a bit, but I have really no pain. I went to cabin on the weekend, and ran into my cousin who gave me two friendly shots in the gut (he has no idea), and that is by far the most pain I have experienced since surgery. After the post punch sweat session passed, I have been basically pain free. I haven't been doing a lot of walking yet, but, I purchased my first pair of running shoes in years today, and I am now officially light enough to get on my woman's treadmill so tonight is the night. I'm also going to set up my gym although it will be a little while till I hit the weights hard. I'm down 20 pounds in the 19 days since I started my pre-op diet although things have slowed since introducing chili back into my life yesterday. I know already I have very little restriction and I am looking forward to my first fill. Glad to year you are doing well Mike as well as the rest of you characters. Looking forward to the rest of this journey with you guys. Q PS... Sex after surgery took place on day 4:redface:, and 5:smile2:, twice on 6:thumbup:, and... Now all I have to do is fix my damned golf swing...
  5. Congrats Mike! Glad to hear things went well. I flew home yesterday, the plane ride wasn't all that enjoyable, but, feeling better now. You need to get a ticker up so that the race to a jersey is visible! Q
  6. Hi Mike, I have had some coffee, and juice this morning, and everything is staying down fine. I've even had some burps which is good. Q
  7. Thanks Bro, I am sure your surgery will go off without a hitch too. My mom wasn't very supportive when I told her, but everyone else has been very supportive and it is as though letting people know, lifts a great weight off my shoulders. Q

Good luck next week: Feb 11 - 15th

Hi Everyone, I had my surgery yesterday, and I am feeling great! A wee bit of gas pain, but the Gassex strips are taking care of that. As far as incision pain, it is very, very minimal. If I would have had to, I could have gone back to work today. Good luck to the rest of my fellow Victorious Valentines! Q:thumbup:
  9. Gents, Day 1 post op and I am feeling great. Pain is very, very managable, although I rolled onto my stomach last night in my sleep, not the best idea I could have had, but other than than that, things seem to good to be true. Q:thumbup:
  10. Thanks for your warm wishes guys! Still going strong, pain is not bad at all. I just got a call from my best man for my wedding in June. I told him what I had done, and to my surprise, he was very supportive. Guess that's why he is my best man. I kept my surgery very quiet prior to heading out here. I have received a couple of calls, and it actually feels good to let it out. Janelle's sister and brother in law also found out, and they were supportive as well. It's all positive so far. Who did you guys tell? Q
  11. H Gents, Well my adventure has officially begun. I had my surgery this morning, everything went great. Feeling a little bit of the gas pain, but, nothing as to what I had prepared myself for. I actually feel really good, a little stiff, but all and all, I feel great. Better run as it is time for painkillers... Q

  13. Well guys, Today is the big day. I actually slept like a baby last night. Woke up nice and refreshed. No idea why, but a feeling of calm has fallen over me.
