i have a 14cc band, i havent told the doctor yet, but he did the fill under the machine and measured how much barium went through the band this time, and said this is the correct adjustment. i just do not know if this is normal or not, i also didnt know if it was because i just recently had the band filled -
well i have 8 in my band currently, if i eat at a normal/fast pace i will throw up, but if i eat at the "band" speed i do not throw up but i can eat a whole plate of food, what's wrong here, i feel like the band is tight because if i eat normally or dont chew well i puke, but if i chew well and eat slowly i can eat way too much... any ideas? need some advice, before i call the doc.

I was banded November 4, 2005, and about 2 days ago I started having pain on the center right side of my body right below my chest, it also hurt to sneeze, cough, or inhale to my maximum lung capacity. At first, I thaught I had pulled a muscle so I wanted to wait 2 days before calling the doctor. Well today I called my surgeon and explained how I felt and they said it sounds like my gallbladder. Just the thaught of spending more money and possibly having another surgery bothers me. I am only 19 and I spent cash on the surgery(no insurance), I hope that my problems are nothing major and are something simple like a muscle pulled. Today I have an appointment at 3pm, I hope it's nothing major. has anyone else had similar symptom's?? if so, what was the problem/solution?

well good news, it is not the gall bladder, just and irritation of a joint/muscle between my sternum/ribs

am i still supposed to sip on my drinks? (i feel i can drink normal now) do i need to drink 15 minuts before a meal and 30 after in the soft food stage? (really bothers me not to drink with a meal) is chilli considered a soft food? (just wondering) what are the best low carb/diet type soft foods? (noticed in the grocery store everything related to soft food was extremely high in carbs and what not)

not severe pain just feel pressure and feel like im not getting enough air, position helps on breathing(standing/sitting up), i had my surgery done in us in texas 10 minuts from my house. i took 1 gas-x tofay, having some gas pain in shouders, i have coughed up a little bit of mucus through out the day(is this normal?) my inscisions were stiched from the inside and i have strips on top of them. surgeon said not to take a bath but to shower, i was just wondering if it would be an issue being the next day?

hey everyone I am new here, and I had a couple of questions. Hopefully getting banded on the 4th of November. ok well here are some of my questions. My doctor(Dr. Jayaseelan) is giving me the larger van gaurd? band because I am a male and he said there is a lot less slipage and problems, I am here for the peoples opinion. -which band is better for weightloss?why? -what is the most amount of weight lost by someone with the band/period of time? -I noticed some people lose extremely slow and some fast what's the trick? -do these forums have an average lb/month weightloss for the bandsters? -what is the worst part of the whole process? the liquid diet is killing me already thanks in advance
