Hey everyone! Well I'm just a bit over 5 months out and down 70 pounds! I'm excited but I haven't lost anything in over three weeks. Everyone that knows me can hardly tell I have lost any weight. That is the most frusterating part. I still have 100 pounds to go. My last fill the Dr wanted me to wait for two months to come back in. I am eating way too much. So going to try to slip in before next month. I'm at 4.5 cc's in a 10 cc band. More often then not I will swallow something to big and end up in pain. I have noticed that my energy level is starting to pick up a bit. So all in all I have to say I'm still thrilled with my band :smile: Good luck to everyone!

I had surgery Jan. 16. Two fills for a total of 3cc's. I have no restriction yet. I have lost 56 pounds so far. I want this to work so bad that I stick with the diet. I go in again April 18th. Hopefully I will finally feel some restriction.

I was banded on Jan 16 08 and had the same problem. I used a heating pad on the area and it seemed to relieve some of the pain. I haven't had the pain in about 2 weeks now. Good luck I hope it helps.

I was given Hydrocodone. I did ok until day 5 when I reached down and picked something up off the floor. Then sneezed. I pulled something in the port area. It took a week for the pain to go away. Now I am still careful on the weight I carry but I am able to move without pain. Call your Dr. if it's that bad. Good luck to you Lynn

One of my preop tests was a nicotine test. They said if I didn't pass they would not do surgery on me. Thankfully I was able to stop 3 months before surgery. So no smoking, no food, hmm when will the sex be taken away? lol Good luck to everyone. Lynn

Jessiegirl I'm just outside of St.Louis. I have had that full feeling and your right not comfy. My liquid intake is still short of what they want. I just try again the next day:smile: Have a great day Lynn

jessiegirl I'm doing great. I was so excited to have eggs again lol. My weight loss has come to a stand still. But no weight gain even though I am on more solid foods. My first fill is Feb. 25. When is yours? How are you doing? Most of the pain gone?

Just had my surgery on the 16TH of Jan. Each person is different on how long it takes them to go back to work. Plan the 7th and call if you aren't ready. Good luck.
