  2. I got my band in Mexico, relocating to SF soon, looking for a fill doctor in the area... anyone know of a doctor willing & able?
  3. i've had 2 fills now, and still no restriction. my first "real" fill kicked in a few days after, but i didnt eat real food until then either, just thick liquids, so maybe that has something to do with it. I've been sticking to the diet though, even though its nearly torture to not eat normal when i know i can...

    First Fill? 2.7cc

    i had the EXACT same thing happen to me a week ago... first fill. blind fill, no fluroscopy, only 1.5 cc in the band, a 10cc band. not much restriction still, but i get a little tight sometimes if i take a big bite of chicken or something... I'm losing about 2 - 3 lbs per week, just from diet and exercise. which I'm happy about, but I was anticipating restriction with the first fill. I go back in mid-Jan for my next fill. hopefully i will have restriction then.

    Rene- all clear on that point, just had a series of tests last week. no problems. i think its more because i'm working out a lot more than i used to, sweating.... and not drinking diet coke, which i used to drink as though it was Water...

    its been really difficult to follow the diet exactly, since I go to university and spend all my day on campus, but I've been finding aspects of meals that I can eat. ie. instead of eating a grilled chicken sandwich, I forgoe the bun and order extra tomato. or I get chinese and get the beef with broccoli with no rice. I drink so much Water... I go through almost a gallon a day. I wake up in the middle of the night parched, so I keep a big bottle on my nightstand. Does that happen to you? My downfall is that I get hungry every 3 hours and it takes a lot to get rid of the pangs. i also work out every other day for 1-2 hours. but My clothes keep getting looser even if the scale isn't showing a loss...

    man, I felt like i was the only one with this problem... I thought I had stretched my puch or the band had slipped or something... 5th week out now, definetly need a fill I think.
