    Judy thank you for your encouragement. I am also starting to get excited and nervous, like Rain. I am so tired of jumping through the hoops, which I know are there for a reason. I just want to lose at my pace and not worry about the weigh ins.

    When my husband had his final weigh in they told him that if he had gained any weight since the last weigh in they would cancel the surgery.

    I lost 12 pounds, but since last weigh in I am struggling with two pounds on two pounds off. Right now the two pounds are on. My husband had no problem going back, he is actually out fishing as we speak.

    My husband feels great today. He went back to work the thursday after surgery, (Monday). He had a very large hiatal hernia, so his surgery took alittle longer. It ended up being about an hour and 15 minutes. I still am alittle nervous. Mostly about my last weigh in. I just do not want to have gained weight or they will cancel surgery. The process is long enough and I really don't want to wait any longer then I have to.

    Doing ok, how about you. My pre op diet is South Beach.

    My hubby is feeling good, still alittle sore at incision sites, but good. He actually went back to work today. He also learned the hard way not to drink too fast. Nausea, dry heaves and sweating.

    Well hubby is feeling much better today. He should be released later today. In fact I am on my way up there now. I will keep you guys posted.

    Hey everyone, my husband had his surgery today! I am less then two weeks to go. Nervous. Judy I hope you feel better. Sometimes the heat can make me crabby too, Plus I have all this extra weight adding like a hundred pound blanket. Hang in there. My husband loves the ricotta thing, however me not so much!

    Judy, I am in the same place as you, SB and worrying about surgery. I know I need it, any surgery can be alittle daunting elective surgery a bit more I guess. Hang in there.

    I am also alittle anxious about not being there with them. I have not been away from them more then a few hours.

    Hi bugsbuni70, I also have small children 3 and 2 who do not like their mommy gone at night. I know mine are smaller and can't understand as much as a 6 year old, but I will just explain that I have to go overnight but not to worry I would tuck them in the next night.

    You have to meet with the dietician twice. First time at the 3 hour and then once again so she can weight you and check your progress with SBeach.
