The only time I feel real physical hunger is when I have PMS so I can sympathize. I give into it by having a couple extra fat-free, sugar-free fudge pops. Used to be I'd wolf down a heck of a lot more than this so I try not to beat myself up over it. Good luck!

I think it's made national news but five women were killed during a botched robbery in Chicago-area Lane Bryant store. I have had such an emotional reaction to this tragedy - seeing the beautiful faces of these victims as the news progresses. I've been sobbing all day.

Dr. Denham did my lap band at Evanston Hospital. He's an outstanding surgeon with a terrific staff.

My surgeon gave me a laminated meal card but I've never used it. It draws attention to myself while out to eat with friends and co-workers. I much prefer full portions, stopping when I'm full and taking the rest home.

Hi all - I'm doing really well and feeling great. Have been putting Merderma gel on my scars which are starting to fade. Have been walking my dog for exercise but wonder how soon I can go back to Curves.....I think I'll call the surgeon's nurse for the answer to that one. Hugs to all!

The weight doesn't come off drastically (as with Gastric Bypass). It will come off, but at a rate that allows you to tell people that you've "made the imporant decision to eat healthy for life" That's my fib and I'm sticking to it :eek: Good luck to you!!!

Only my family knows about my band surgery. I told everyone at work that I would be out for a week recovering from surgery on fibroids. Nobody, and I mean nobody wants to "further discuss" female health matters!

The store is in Tinley Park but the victims were from several different southern suburbs

My watch keeps slipping all around my wrist and I think I need to have a link or two taken out of the band - more NSVs everyone!!

Friends - As tempted as I am to weigh myself daily - I stick to Sunday mornings only with a small reward in mind for staying off the scale and (of course) any weight loss. Manicure, movie, someting like that.
