First off... you are the least middle-aged looking, middle aged woman I've ever seen. Secondly, take advantage of the new "free" time. Join a club, take a class. There are "meet-up" groups on Yahoo for people with similar interests... just about anything. Use this time to really get into working out, jogging, biking, hiking. Buy an ATV, motorcycle... travel. You've worked hard to raise successful kids... and from what you say, you've done a pretty darn good job. So now, it is Kare-time! Do for Kare. Think of the things you always wanted to do... and do them. Believe me, you'll make new friends easily, maybe even reconnect with old ones! And, by the way, your parenting is not over, it will go on forever, it just takes new forms. Big smiles and hugs.

Kare you'd have NO problems getting yourself a younger man! Hell, if I weren't married... Oops. Hope my wife doesn't go on here. heh heh heh (evil laugh)

Before my band... probably all of them. Zenadrine, Cortislim, Chromium picconolate (sp), amino acid combos, green tea, Stacker, Ephedra, and more. The only thing I usually got from them was at most, the jitters, but no weight loss.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but Joe... WOW! Great job on the loss. An amazing difference in the pics!

Mmmmmmm... Boca burger on the grill with low fat cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on a toasted whole wheat bun... Yummy!

One thing against the fat burners might be the pills themselves. I cannot take big pills, and need to use liquids, dissolving tabs or crush them up. Many fat burners are time-release, so you shouldn't crush them. I know I couldn't get one past my band.

Sure they do. Outside on one side of the ship it is OK, they have smoking rooms like motels, and in the casinos and most of the bars it is allowed, at least on the cruises I have been on.

Jo, Actually I do it similar to you. I do eat Breakfast everyday, though, a bowl of sugar-free oatmeal with some added flax meal (flax oil is good for your skin and hair)... about 150 calories. lunch is about 200 calories, various meals, and dinner runs between 250-350 calories. I do have 1-2 100 calorie or less Snacks a day allotted. Some days I have em, some I don't. I do 45 minutes, 5x a week on my recumbant bike, and dumbell weight training 3x a week. For me, I needed fills as I have the Vanguard band, and as I lose, it gets loose. We want to see your before/after pics... get em up here!

If you can't go to the store... try an alternative. We have a service in our area at the Giant supermarkets called Peapod. You pick your groceries online, and they deliver them to you for only $5. Convenient, and you won't be looking at all that stuff in person. I'm sure you have similar service in your area.
