I have to be the biggest failure here!

One thing that I have found that works is how many times you eat. I don't know about you guys but I get these emails sent to me every few months about the lap band. One thing it said on there was you should only eat every 4 hours. So as for me my job is 7am-3:30pm. So in the morning I take my vitamins and wait to eat breakfast until 8am, at that time I usually have carrots or some kind of cheese with a meat (i am losing my hair so I have to eat meat with every meal). Then I do not eat again (not even a little cracker) until 12pm. At that time I usually have some kind of meat or chicken and a veggie. After that I normally do not eat until 5 just because I don't want to eat too early in the night where I am hungary before I go to bed. At five I usually have something like I had for lunch. I know I see a lot of you saying you are hungary but you have to train yourself to know what hungary is. I used to say I was hungary when really I was just bored. And trust me, I know it is hard. I am constantly surrounded by people at work that order out or bring food in to share. And honestly, I love saying no thanks. Just because it makes me feel good to know that I have that control to say that. Just remember, only 3 meals every 4 hours, that is sufficient if you pick the correct foods to eat! We all will get through this, I promise!!

    Stomach flu and such

I actually have the flu right now. I got really sick on Sunday nite where I was throwing up and everything that comes with the flu. The puking is what scared me the most, I didn't want the band to slip. But monday morning I just called my dr and he got me some Zofran (cures puking and nausea, usually used for people going through chemo). That did the trick with all of it. I honestly had no problem with the diarehha (sp?), it was there and nothing I could do about it. The dehydration is a problem though. Unfortuatly I did not drink a lot on Sunday because I didn't feel well but I drank nothing on Monday and only a little on Tuesday. I wouldn't say I was dehydrated though. If you are ever concerned about that though you need to call your dr.
