    Deviled Eggs

    I always make sure I chew and chew and chew. Eggs are soft and give you a false feeling that the are ready to be swallowed even if you only chewed on 'em a few times. If I don't pulverize them.. they get stuck big time.:biggrin:

    July Exercise Challenge

    hello all, you guys/gals rock! I haven't posted anything for a while but would like to get in on the July challenge...hoping it will carry over to an august challenge. I bought myself a 3 year membership to 24hr fitness for mothers day. Need to have my head examined on that one. Should have got myself a day at the spa. :biggrin: Ive been averaging 5 days a week since i joined except for the last 2 weeks when I only made it twice/wk cuz I was LAZY!! You all have inspired me. Hope you don't mind a late-comer. Usually I do 20-25 min on stair master and 25min on eliptikill. Then finish off the night with 10-15 min of abs and stretching.

  4. Everyone needs to take a deep breath!! whew. Got on the scale this morning and only lost 1/2lb. I know it was the 4 hereshy kisses I had. Today I'm better. stayed on track with 19.3 net carbs, but the night is young:biggrin:. Great job losing and bloo. My experience with pop-tarts is you have to definately throw them away, out of the wrapper, into the garbage you keep outside. Otherwise you are tempted to do a mid-night rescue. Chocolate is the devil, I'm convinced, so I keep it around for emergencies. Maybe when we slip up we have to punish ourselves with an extra 5 minutes on the bike or tred. I'm tired of being hard on myself for 4 hershey kisses. I've been hard on myself my whole life. Georgia--think about how many french fries and chik-nuggets you could mow down prior to surg?? 10 fries is nothing. We are all doing fine. This weekend may be hard due to super-bowl parties. Remember, Buffolo wings and the cheese off pizza is free (zero carbs), plus there are a ton of low carb beers out there and they aren't that bad. Todays menu b-Skipped:eek: l-chik salad w/cheese and 1/2 avo (7.8g) d-porkchop w/ lt breading, salad w/tomato & olive (11.5g) s- like i said...the night is still young Come girls, We can handle friday, Right??!

    My dr said go for it. Should be no problem for the port site. He says the really fasten those suckers down in there. No chance of movement. Even with belly rolls.:tt1:
  6. I lost 4lbs since my last visit. md says keep up the good work and if I start to get between meal munchies I can go in for a fill. Thank god for induction!!:tongue: Did very well today cuz I just wasn't hungry. B-1 sl turkey L-1 sl turkey , 1 string chz s- 1/2 avo D-2c Salad with chz & chicken Total carb 14.6 (net) Fixed the family popcorn chicken and baked potato. Smelled good and had 1 bite of each, Do I have to at 3000 carbs to my total??:tt1: Didn't drink enough water tho.

    lapdancer- you look great, the girls on the show look like hour glasses. Usually that would depress me. But I try to turn it around and say "I want to work towards looking like that!" I know I'm not going to but I can have the same muscles they do. You just can't see them thru my fat;). I'm going to the md today & I'll ask about all the tummy rolls and such with regard to my(our)port. Good day
  8. Good morning all! I usually shop at target also but look like I'm going to wally world on a stuffed chicken safari:smile:. I've done well so far. Was down 2lbs tues morn and down 1lb this morning. 2 days on induction...love this eating plan! I know its mostly water at first but I have a md appt today at 11am and this jump start is just what I needed. Tues stats B- 1 egg, 1 sl swiss chz, 1/2 avo (2.4g) L- Salad (1.5c) w/ ham and chz 4tbs dressing (3.4g) s- 1 wedge skinny cow chz (1g) D- Salad (2c) w/turkey and chz (6g) 12.8g total (net) no plan for today yet.. not sure if I'm getting a fill or not. every one focus today and good luck...

    There is a show on fit tv called "shimmy" where they teach bellydancing as a form of fitness. You just do what you can. It's really fun. It's on 3-4 times per week.
  10. Today was long and hard but I made it thru. You guys are so good with your stats for the day. I'm lucky just to count the carbs. Day 1 b-1 egg, 1 slice havarti cheese, 1/2 avocado,1/2 pita (17.4c) l- 1 can tuna with 2 tbs ken's steakhouse ranch (1c) s- 1 skinny cow swiss wedge, 1/2 avo (2.8c) d-3/4 c green beans with bacon, burger with cheese (no bun/sauces) (5.1c) Not enough water today. Have to change that tomorrow. No more pitas!! that surely did me in today. Shucks!! I'm still proud of myself tho.
  11. I'm newly registered today but have been following your posts since yesterday. You guys rock!! Do you mind if I join you?? I've been thinking of starting atkins for a jump start to my plateu. I started this morning. first day totally sucks!!
