    Bio Trainer versus Body Bugg

I'd love a body bugg too but at $399 intead of $49 for the bio trainer (BioTrainer Weight Loss System - measure physical activity and caloric burn), it's basically the same thing. Plus the body bugg is pretty big & bulky and doesn't have a display. Unless you buy the wrist watch display ($479.95 for BodyBugg & display). Then there's the monthly web site fee. The bio trainer is pretty much the same thing, looks cool and is WAY less expensive. Plus they offer a 10% discount to WLS patients when using the Discount Code: WLS - wish they had that when I ordered mine. When you stop using your body bug, can I borrow it? I'd love to compare the two products.

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

I would like to do paved trail riding. I don't want to commute to work or ride with traffic. Have to find some friends to ride with. Today I strictly ride in-doors and am thinking it'd be nice to get outside. I'll probably by a hybrid bike but I have just started looking. Just got a Nike+iPod to try and get myself into walk/running. It's fun to add new activities to the mix. Last summer, I was the only guy in the water aerobics class at my community pool. I'm going to do that again this summer!

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

I bought a Schwin recumbent bike at Sears before surgery and started riding. My rule was before I watch TV or surf the net, I have to get in some kind of ride. I started with 20 minutes a day and was wiped out. I am not 7 months post-op and I ride 60 minutes a day, and knock out 16 miles. I either watch TV or listen to music while I ride. It's cold in Atlanta right now but comes Spring, I am getting outside and riding! I also want to start cross training and incorporate running (never been a runner) into my daily routine. My daily routine is 10 minutes stretching, 250 ab crunches, 60 minutes on the bike, 250 more ab crunches and as many push ups as I can do on the staircase - currently 25 - 30. I have lost 149 lbs since mid-May (surgery June 18th) and I have never felt better!
