Hi, my name is Mark, from ND. I'm 19 years old and I was banded 7-18-07 and I have lost 115 pounds. I have never felt better and living my life to the fullest!!!

Hi everybody from ND. My name is Mark, from Minot and had my surgery in Bismarck, with Dr. Kavlie. I had my surgury July 07 and down about 121 lbs!! I feel really great, I still have about 100 more pounds to go and hope to be at my goal by the end of 2008!

Hi- I was banded about 8 months ago when I was 19. First of all I would like to congratulate you on taking this step into your new future. I had a really good recovery, I had my surgery at 8AM and was out by 3PM. I was sore for about 2 weeks but after that everything was good. I have not had any complications. And as of right now I'm hoping to start with a trainer in March or April.

No-I'm not at my goal yet, still have about 100+ pounds to meet my goal. What really works good for me is avoiding carbs, cardio 3-4 times/week--the weight has just been falling off. Right now I'm at the goal of losing 2 pound/week. -
