Not drinking with meals for me wasn't a biggie, but I always feel like I have to be eating... Especially in the evening or nights while in front of the TV... so that has been the one behavior thing I have had to change.

Almost 3 months out for me and I have lost 40 pounds! I am VERY happy with that!

My hubby refuses to lose or diet... because he thinks he is sexy how he is I agree. He could stand to lose a little, but he has lost some since my surgery and he is feeling healthy. There is no way my husband would ever have WLS... he just refuses it.

I would think it would have a positive affect on your daughters... But everyone is different. My mother, father, sister and I have always been overweight, but I plan on teaching my daughter to eat the right things and portion control and maybe she won't have the problems I did. I really hope that it is a positive experience for your whole family.

This is interesting... Diet Coke always made me do that, but my low carb candy bars don't make me crave anything. That is very interesting. I will have to take note of cravings IF I have any. I haven't had a craving in a whole week. Thanks for the info gals!

Oh my gosh! I just love Atkins. I have been sticking with it and the weight is dropping off again. I have to be strick on myself or I won't lose and the carbs put weight on me like crazy! If you think about it, Atkins is like the bandsters diet... Protein, veggies, fruit... and then carbs, but I don't think refined sugar is good for anyone. I did Weight Watchers for a month and actually gained, but I know some people that have lost a great deal and maintained on that diet. I personally know that Atkins is for me. Good luck!

I don't think we were there for more than 4 hours start to finish... I was at home and in bed by 1:00! I stayed in bed for the rest of the evening.
