You don't know how glad I am that I have somebody agreeing with me... Thought I might be the only one that felt that way.... :) WHEW!!!!

But we aren't physically in a room of 5000... (I know, I know... I like to debate what EVERYONE has to say) For EVERYONE's benefit... Just one question to those of you that agree with loopylou... Did your Dr. inform you that you would have to watch what you eat and work with the band? Just curious if you knew this before being banded? That was the first thing that came out of my Dr.'s mouth....

I started out with walking. Now I walk and do an exercise program on DVD called Slim in 6. Hope that helps.

I think it is just great that you with lower BMI's were able to do this!!! You will never have to go thru the pain of having a 50+ BMI!!! Hats off to all of you for being so knowledgeable that you didn't want to become morbidly obese!!! (Wish this would have been an option for me... but I doubt I have EVER had a low BMI!) Great job

FIrst of all, it looks like you are doing just GREAT with your weight loss. You are going to have to make it a point to not have that stuff in your house if you are too tempted to eat it. I can not have any junk in my house or I would be doing the same thing. Get those Cookies out, and don't tell me so and so shouldn't suffer without them, because cookies aren't healthy for anyone. You can do this, you just have to put it in your mind too. Excellent that you are working out too!!! You are SO close to Goal!!! THROW THE JUNK OUT!!!

Someone.... no names mentioned made a great point that there are people offended by religion... It irks me to see all the religion posts... but I have NEVER complained about it nor suggested another thread. (until now obviously) To an atheist or someone who doesn't believe in God... these suggestions of prayers are surely very offensive??? Do they need to restrain themselves as us that like to talk about sex need to??? Just a thought....

I completely understand why you chose him then... I chose my Dr. for the same reasons... About 10 of us here at work have had bypass or lap band by my Dr. Sounds like you are headed in the right direction, meaning that you know it is a lifestyle change. Keep us posted!!!

I didn't realize we had anyone on here that was under 18? I could be a butt and say that if they are under 18, it is their parents responsibility to monitor what they do online But I won't say that! (my mom NEVER let me online unless she was right there with me, I never got to see the dirty stuff when I was little) (which is a good thing)

It seems like if you see something you don't like, you should get out of that thread. There are several threads that I do not agree with or like, so I just stay out. I think most of us try to start non band related threads in the LBT Lounge section. Pretty easy to stay out of there if you don't want to see things.

My hubby is such a dork... He will call me on the phone and say "Hey Heather, guess what? long pause.... " I gotta big dick"... It is sooo old.... I mean, he does it like 4 times a day. I guess I just know that I won't fall off the wagon because I didn't have surgery to fall off the wagon. This surgery was a life changing thing for me.. yes, I am only almost 4 months out, but I have NEVER kept up dieting and exercising for this long. I know 4 months doesn't sound like much, but for me it is. I know I will stumble some, but the point is, that I will never be physically able to binge and pig out like before... It just won't happen (unless band has to be removed) But, why even bother thinking negative like all the weight will eventually come backt and what not, when that is not going to get us anywhere! I will not fail at this, you can all come find me in 5, 10 or 50 years and if I am still alive, I will be healthy. It might sound sugar coated and like a dream, but for me it is now reality.
