If you are really worried, which understandably you are, you need to call and know 100% what you are expected to pay. Simple as that.

The girl I talked to at Spivak's had said that Spivak didn't want to deal with UHC because they were only wanting to give him $1100 and that isn't beneficiary to him or his patients. He is currently trying to work something out with UHC. I think it is UHC's fault and I TRULY believe that Spivak is doing all he can to make it better for his patients.

I am really sorry that you feel so bad. I understand... I really do hope that everything works out for you. Keep us posted!

Oh, can't believe I forgot to tell you guys what happened last night. We went to a Mexican food place in town and they have 99cent Margaritas on Monday and Tuesday... Well, the place was PACKED! When we got there, there were 3 girls that I went to High School with. We were friends at one point, but then they did some horrible stuff to me... ANYWAYS, I am currently in the same size clothes I was my Senior year. These 3 girls have gained a LOT of weight, I mean... 2 of them were 2X the size they were in High School. I went over and talked to them, because one of them has a daughter around the same age as mine and we are distant cousins. (Someone keeps telling me our daughters look alike) Those 3 girls looked me up and down... I could tell they were shocked at my size (good shocked for me) My husband couldn't get over how big they had gotten and he was talking about it ALL night. I know it is mean, but it made me feel nice to see that skinny bitches have to deal with weight too! I felt horrible that they had gotten so big, I really did, but they were SO mean to me back then... that it felt good that I could look nice for once! Anyways... it was a really cool night!

Free to all who would like to join... I plan on doing a monthly thing. We will see how it goes. 1. Start date: March 1st 2. End date: March 31st 3. Post your beginning weight. Any and all suggestions are welcome. This is a friendly little CHALLENGE and I am NOT going to calculate anything. If someone else wants to that will be fine. The main reason I want to start this is to track my weight on a monthly basis to see how much I can really lose by pushing myself... So, let me know if you want in. We will post a beginning weight on the 1st! Just a little clarifications here : I want this to be a challenge for us all to lose weight. I don't want there to big one winner, because we will all be winning. I don't plan on prizes or naming a certain winner. In some cases that will make us work harder, but for my own personal reasons I just want us all to PUSH each other to win this battle. I recently dropped out of another challenge just because I wasn't getting what I needed there. EVERYONE is welcome in this challenge and I don't want to divide anyone on LBT!!! Like I said, we are all in this together and I just want to try and do things a little different. I would LOVE all comments and suggestions on how we want to do this... Nut! You better get to hopping on the treadmill! Here is a swift kick in the bum!!! I am slowly catching up on everyone's posts... I have been SUPER busy at work though! I just about died today! I have been wanting to tan, so I found a place near work that I could go during lunch... well, there was SUPPOSED to be a girl working there... and there was a HOT guy. I almost pulled right back out of the parking lot... because me and HOT guys... don't go together ANYways... I said to myself to get over it and go tan hooch! SO I DID! He was the nicest guy... and he was even flirting with me (he had a wedding ring on and so did I) BUT man, that felt GOOD!!!

I just talked to someone in Spivak's office and basically there is some truth in what you say. In "MY" particular case with my coverage... My fills are still only $20 because I have out of network coverage. BUT, like you said... IF I hadn't already had my surgery... it would have cost me a lot more. Don't worry guys! Dr. Spivak and his office is currently trying to work with UHC to get them to meet him halfway. He is seriously interested in the needs of his patients and will do everything he can. UHS is only wanting to give Spivak a tiny amount for performing the surgeries... SO... that is where this is all stemming from. Thanks for the info NewSho!~!

I don't think you did anything wrong. Like I think I said in your old post... It is horrible for Grandparents to act that way. If they have a problem with you and hubby, fine, but leave the kids out of it. I swear there was a Dr. Phil episode VERY similar to this!!!! Call Dr. Phil!!!!
