Not everyone will look good in a single digit. My sister is 6'2" and very large frame. If she was an 8, she would look sick! There is NOTHING wrong with wanting to be 10-12ish!!! That is very realistic for us that started at 26/28.

I know what you mean!!! When I buy something now I hold it up and think... well, maybe after I lose 30 more pounds it will fit.. and then it fits... like the jeans I put on today... I thought, no way am I getting my large booty in those. But I did and they fit, and they are cute! Yay size 18!!!

Right now you have no fill. You aren't expected to lose weight. With the proper fill, you are supposed to lose 1-2 pounds a week. That is the average and statistics... Like Vines said... some are rabbits and some are turtles tho.

Great thread, I love reading everyone's goals.... I secretly dream of a size 8, but with my frame and build I do not think that is realistic. I am currently shooting for a 12. I am in an 18 regular jeans now at 264 lbs. Started this at 329lbs and size 26W jeans!

Please keep us posted. I think I would have reacted the same way and demanded money back... if they couldn't do it for me. If you truly are that desperate... (it seems you are) Then go to their office and talk with them... like you said, apoligize and work something out. Good luck!

1. I am in a size 18 Old Navy jeans! Not their plus size, their regular 18's!!! (oh, and I can breathe) They are SO cute and comfy 2. I bought a bathing suit for the first time in forever! 3. I bought another pair of shorts, that I WILL wear in public. 4. I am wearing a diamond horseshoe necklace that my hubby bought me 2 years ago, that has always been a little too snug on the neck. It isn't snug anymore!!! Just wanted to share with my LBT family! Today is a good day.

Boy, that is a common misconception with WLS!!! No one will fully understand it unless they have it done! Tell her What is EASY about being Morbidly Obese? What is easy about never getting to eat as much as your heart desires? There is no easy about it. It makes things easier for me.... but it isn't easier! I know that sound contradicting, but that is what I think. Good luck with that!

Hi Kathy, Dr. Spivak is my surgeon also. He does the fills at the SurgeryCenter so he can do them under the flouro machine. I don't see why he won't fill you after 30 days. Never heard of him not doing that. If you need anything, feel free to get ahold of me! Best of Luck to ya!

Happy Belated Birthday Dawg!

Weighed in this morning at 264 lbs!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!! Nope, I haven't lost all that with the band... but dang near most of it! My highest ever was 365 and my NEW goal is 182.5 (half of my heaviest) so I have 81.5 pounds to go guys!!!

I have tons of energy! I am not as shy. I finally have some self confidence. I am really just enjoying life and my weight isn't stopping me from doing anything!

I have lost 101 since my highest... not too sure if this is for weightloss from surgery only? You guys are doing great!
