Can life get any better??? Girls, I am on cloud 9!!! I weighed this morning... (thought it was Wednesday when I woke up.) Well that beautiful scale that I LOVE so much told me I was 244!!! Only 5 pounds from the 230's and only 15 pounds from 100lbs lost since my surgery!!! I thought I posted this.. but I can't remember... Went and tried on bridesmaid dresses Saturday... well last year at this time I had to get a size 26 from David's Bridal... drum roll puhlease... the size 18 fit beautifully... but I ordered a 16 since the wedding is 3 months away and I have no doubts that I will fit into it by Sept. 30th. I am posting a pic of it for you guys to see! When it comes in and I can fit into it... I will post a picture later also, of ME in it! If you can't tell, I am SO in love with my band!

I knew all the risks... read all of the posts... and I decided that the smaller percentage chance of erosion, slippage, infections.. outweighed the 100% chance that if I didn't do something I would die young and have a miserable rest of my life... I don't know your story, don't know anything about you... but it for me what up to the question of what was more important to me? Trying to fight this battle with all I could, hell, if I fail, at least I tried. It is and will have to be a personal decision for everyone.

I really need to start keeping up with these threads! Emilee~ your post coud have been written by me. I felt those same things when I was over 300, and I am now feeling the joys you are. You have done so great and you truly are a WONDERFUL person. GFG rocks, doesn't it? Keep it up, you are going to be at goal in NO time!!!

Hi Reeneea! Are you drinking cold water? Try sipping on some warm tea or something warmer. I hope that you can get some liquids down... If you can't get any down I would call Spivak tomorrow so you don't get dehydrated. Good LUCK!

I don't care if it is a one time issue or not... there is ABSOLUTELY NO reason for a grown man to push and kick a child!!! This makes me want to puke. After reading that there was a run in with her son at one time also... you definitely need to do something. Stay on your friend's ass about this.. if she doesn't call today.. I think you should call for her. She might come back and tell you tomorrow that she was hesitant to tell you that SHE has had a run in with him also. I hope that at the least someone will look into this and get that dad some help soon!

C 248 (-117 lbs total, -2 this week) YAYYYY!!!! I am one of those gals that wants to lose 10 pounds a week... but I will settle for 2! I filled out my scorecard... I am pretty sure the only thing I did right was posting my weight! :scared: Perfect week for me there! YIPPY!!! Has anyone heard from legallyKristin????????????SERIOUSLY worried about her guys.... I haven't checked yet to see her last active time... but just wondering. HAPPY LOSING!!!! OH, something else for me to chat about............. Don't you absolutely love getting to that next lower point... such as... 299, 289, 279, 269, and so on... I just got past 249.... and I am DREAMING of 239!!! HECK, don't ask me when the last time I weighed 2-thirty something.... Those mini-goals make my life exciting!

Kristin~ I am 5'-10", 10cm band that will hold 4cc, and I have 2.2 cc's currently. The past few days the band has been a bit finicky. I seem a little bit tighter than normal. Nothing bad, but I don't know what is going on. Not my TOM either. So I am taking it easy. I was able to eat a lot on Saturday evening... and I must have made something swollen... Off to tan girls... later!
