Well, missed my fluid/protein goals yesterday. Hit a point where I just didn't want to drink anymore. I'm definitely running a fluid deficit and need to re-commit today to get my upper goal in. Am swallowing almost normal now, so there's really no excuse. And I'm SUPER glad I decided to work from home this first week post-op. I'd have had to call in sick today if I'd had to face getting into business dress and doing my hair/makeup. LOL.

You're doing great...I still struggle to get my water in every day. Before I had surgery, I would have said that I did a good job of staying hydrated. Now I know how poorly I was doing . Yay for working from home...that's my life all the time, which is good and bad. Good that I can stay in my PJs, bad that sometimes the husband comes home and I'm still in my PJs

Last week, just before I took off for surgery, they implemented a new partial work from home schedule. I can work from home every Tuesday and Thursday if I want. I wasn't going to take advantage of it, but I think at least until I'm on solid foods it isn't a bad idea. It will break up the week and make it easier even if I still have to go in 3 days.
