Hey there. Nice to meet you. I have an appt with Johnsrud 4/16. I'm excited. How was your whole experience? Were you covered by Ins? What was your out of pocket expense? It's all so scary!!

I just recently had surgery on March 19th. I must agree about their program being awesome.. I was banded by Dr. Johnsrud. I also had a private room and the burses were great. The best part about the program is the support groups. They are the 1st and 3rd tuesday of the month. Natalie and Heidi are great also. Anytime you have a question just give them a call.

So how are the March Banders doing since surgery???

Well i was banded on March 19th and came home today. When I got out of surgery I was in no pain. I did take pain medication last night to help me sleep. I had some pain in my left shoulder and in my port area. I feel pretty good. Not really hungry at all. Thank goodnes for ice chips and sugarfree popsicals... I will most likely take some pain meds to help me sleep tonight at home. Walking is good fro the gas. I can't wait to take a shower tomorrow morning. -
Hi hope your doing well congrats .your on your way to a healthier life enjoy it! I lost 15 pounds last week I will all be well worth It keep in touch Hugs Bobie:wink2:

The avenue is a nice store to shop at. Quality clothes.. Like Angie said ""I won;t miss shopping there" I reallly want to buy a nice dress from Ann Taylor..(outlet store of course) LOL

I can't wait to fit into the "swings" again. I remember going on a roller coaster with my dad before he had gastric bypass. He was large enough to make me feel safe. He held me down quite nicely. Now he has lost 200 pounds and I hold him down nicely. Can't wait for the day to come that both of us feel like we are going to fall out!

I tried it for awhile. Some of the food is ok and some of it does taste like dog food. I still have some left if you would like to try it. The program work pretty well for a short period of time. I lost 20 and then I gained it back. The program gets to be really expensive

The first 5 days of liquids were the hardest for me.. I keep hearing everyone from my support group say that if you can make it throught the pre-banding diet, you can make it after!

Just breath in and breath out.. You are ready for this change in your life. You can do it. Just 2 days sooner to a new and healthier you! Good Luck!
