Wow, Lisa. You're doing great! I find that I don't crave if I eat what I am supposed to----be sure you're doing what you NEED to do and then eat it in small amounts. Don't deprive yourself, you'll just want it more. I have no idea as to how much fill I have in! I don't really care. I just know I'm tight enough.
I had surgery a good 8 months before you. You're doing really well!!! Keep up the good work!!

I hate that I have started craving chocolate again. That has hurt me. How full is your band. I have 3.25cc total. I have lost 73 total. I lost 21 lbs on my own while I was going through all of the pre-op stuff, 13 lbs on the 2 week pre diet and the rest I have lost since my surgery on August 1, 2008. It is so very hard. I have got to start exercising too.

Hi, Lisa.
I had surgery on Dec. 12th, 2007. I am officially down about 83 pounds from my start with my surgeon, but I actually weighed about 11 pounds MORE than that, before I started with him.....It hasn'tbeen easy, but it's definitely worth every bit of effort! No regrets.

Hi Lisa
I have been to Southern Surgical for the patient education class. I had to schedule 6 appointments. Nutritionist, ultrasound of abdomen, cardiac evaluation, psych eval, endoscopy, and pulmunary eval at this appt they may say I have to do a sleep apena test. When did you have your lap band done? How has it been so far? How much have you lost?
Alot of people who have had gastric bypass are telling me not to do lap band because you have to go back for fills but I chose lap band because I did not want to have my intestine re-routed,what about you? Who did your surgery? Sorry about all the questions but you are the first person I have talked to that has had the lap band.
Thanks
