Had my first fill yesterday and after they gave the numbing meds.....I didn't feel anything. So don't worry about the needle.
-
Congrats Slue on the date!
-
Today, I had my first fill. I was nervous at first, but I didn't feel the needle going into the port. I banded with a 10 cc band, and the doctor gave me 4 cc today, and boy let me be the first one to tell you.....I can tell the difference already. My question for the forum what was your first fill?
-
Glad everything went well for you!
-
I went to the doctor's today, and since my surgery, I lost 10 lbs, which I think is great in itself. I am on my way to the gym to hit the weights.
-
Fenton, Good Luck with your surgery tomorrow!

Thanks--hopefully when I get my first band I will be below the 200 mark. I knotice all of my clothes are getting really loose.
-
Yes, I think it was fluid retention, but I have since the 18th of February lost 6 additional pounds.

I was banded on 2-4-08, and I have been losing weight since I was banded. This week I gained one pound, and I know it's not much weight....but I want to continue losing weight. I have increased my cardio workout to an average of 45 minutes on the t-mill. Any suggestions?

I was banded on February 4, 2008, and everything seems to be going fine. I was able to wean myself on Hydrocodone. I like to thank everyone for the support on this forum.

Feeling fine............my incisions are itching which is a good sign they are healing. Everything seems to be working toward being normal.

Tomorrow I will join the LOSER club. I am getting nervous and excited at the same time. I am looking forward to my new life! I am taking several before shots and once I am banded, I will do after shots later.
-
That's sounds great--to be a support for each other. Yes I was excited and nervous, but I had God on my side, and with Him everything is possible. Good Luck on your surgery.

I usually lie on my back because of the C-PAP machine. After surgery I really didn't have the appetite to each much; for example I ate 3 teaspoon of jello and I was full. The best thing is walking!
-
Well I am officially a BANDSTER. The procedure wasn't not bad at all. I am quite sore, but really haven't have an appetite yet. I ate four teaspoons of SF jello and stuffed like a Thanksgiving Turkey. The key is to continue to walk and keep your lungs free by using the inspirametor.

Today is day that the Lord has make it! Today at approximately 2 hours, I will begin my BAND journey, and start my new life! Good Luck to all my fellow BANDSTERS today!
