Hi! I have had my band 10 yrs. Most of the time it seems to do well around 6 to 6.5.

My wife and I both were banded on 4/25. Both of us are in our 40's and had less than 100lbs to lose. Over the years those extra 60-80lbs added up to type 2 diabetes for her and elevated blood pressure and bad knees/ankles for me. The lap band is working very well for the two of us.
