Hey All, I would like to walk as well. I will be unable for about a month to 6 weeks. I have to have foot surgery on Friday. I would love to have people to walk with when better. I live in Benton Park close to Lafayette Park. Keep me posted on when and where you all walk. I can't wait to get moving. Cosmo

I do not use shoes or socks. It might have something to do with when you weigh in you don't want the extra weight at least for me. I need all the help I can get. Might want to wear shoes if you do the running exercise. I found that helps me. Good Luck and have Fun! Annie

Thanks Cheri. I wish now I would have kept it quiet when I got the band. I wish people would just mind their own buisness. So far so good with the Wii Fit. I like it cause I can use it anytime in the privacy of my own home. Have a Great Week. Annie -

It's been a while since I have Posted. Hope all are well. I am having a hard time to motivate myself to exercise. I got the Wii Fit. It is so much fun. When I do use it I work out for at least 45mins. It traks your progress along with your weight and BMI. I just can not motivate to use it everyday. I think I am a little depressed. I do not have a partner and my friends and family think the weight should fall off more quickly than it's doing. AAHHH Frustration. Please let me know if anyone else has used the Wii Fit and had success. Thanks for letting me vent. Annie -
Hey just wanted to let all of you out there that want a fun motivating way to work out to try the Wii Fit. It is really fun. It tracks your weight and BMI. It also gives you a chance to set goals and gives great advice. The first day my Wii age was 73 two days later I was down to 46. Still older than my real age but getting better. Please let me know if anyone else is using it. Hope all are doing well Annie

I took a trip to Dallas over Memorial day weekend and my band tightened up so much I was unable to eat or drink. It got better the next day and did not happen on the trip home. I called Nancy at DePaul and she said this happens sometime. Thanks for the heads up. Next time I fly I think I will get some fluid taken out. Just thought I would let you all know. Maybe you all know this but if you don't I feel it's important. Annie

To Tom from Ohio, Sorry to hear you have to lose so much on liquids. I weighed in at 275 on surgery day and did not have to lose any before surgery. Did you question the doc's reason for so much weight needing to be lost this way? My opinion is it's an excessive amount to lose in such a short time. Good Luck. It will be all worth it in the end. -
Who's your doctor in St. Louis, MO?
cosmo24 replied to orsemus's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Yes it is normal to go through a long process before ever seeing the doctor. I went to De Paul and did not see Dr. Scott until I was approved by my insurance. I think its a time/money thing. Good Luck in your process. Keep us posted on it. Cosmo -
Jamie, Congrats. I am going to start keeping a journal of my food intake and protein. I also filled two water bottles at 32oz each. I will make it a point to get more fluids. Thanks for your post you motivated me. Annie aka Cosmo24

How is everyone doing. I have not posted in a long time so I thought I'd post. I just got my second fill on Thursday. I can only eat a tiny tiny bit. I have been slow losing weight so I am hoping this will speed things along. The weather improving is good also. Hope everyone is doing well. Annie

Brandy, I asked someone in the waiting room if they were MissouriMom. They were not of course. What time were you there? They were running behind this am. I did fine thanks for your replys. Don't understand why we have to be on clear liquids? Annie
