Hey guys, It is week 2 for me and I started to liquify creamy Soups. Is it wrong to do that at this stage? And how much sodium is too much?

Hey guys, I've had my band only a week. But I am curious about getting fills. How much cc is normal for the first fill?

Hey all, I wanted to know if anyone has used Dr. Vitello. Please let me know.

hey all, I had to go to the emergency room and was on IV. I was extremely dehydrated. I have to go back to the hospital again because nothing is staying down still. I will be admitted again to the hospital by tomorrow morning. Lately I have been thinking to myself....what did I do? This is an awful experience.

Hey guys, I went for my first fill and the doctor said he put in 8cc. I know for sure that I have a VG band and in the booklet that I have it says that the capacity is 10cc. Anyway, my doc said that my capacity is 20cc. Is there such a thing? Well, I have no restriction at all. So if my band has a 10cc capacity then I should be really restricted and everything should be getting stuck. Got my fill on Saturday and did the liquids for 48 hrs. After that I had Pasta...never felt full. Nothing got stuck, I had broccoli with that and some corn. As I continued eating real food and nothing happened, I decided to put it to the test. I know that I shouldn't have, but I went to McDonalds and got a double quarter pounder with cheese and some fries. To my surprise I could eat all of it. Where is my restriction?? Inamed claims that my band can only hold 10cc, so at 8cc I should be extremely tight. HELP!!!!!!!!:confused2:

Hey guys, I've had the band about a week now. I feel fine but I know that my insides need to heal. When can I start exercising? And what can I do in the meantime?
-
Hey guys, I had the band a week ago and for the first 3 days I was really careful and would sip slowly and not take in too much. However, after that I started drinking and sometimes gulping down liquids and realized that it had no effect. Then I noticed that I could down a whole tin of V8 with ease. Is this normal? Am I stretching my pouch?

It took me a while to decide whether to have the procedure done in Mexico or the US. But I did it on January 12, 2008 in Tijuana, Mexico. I had the surgery done by Dr. Contreras Guarista at the Versalles Center. The place was amazingly clean and beautiful. But above all of that, the doctor really put me at ease. The entire staff was great. I love that place. It was the best decision I have ever made.

I got my procedure done on January 12 and went back to work on the 15th. But I had to talk it really slow.

Dr. Contreras Guarista is an excellent surgeon. I had my surgery about a week ago and I feel great. He talked with me and addressed all my concerns. Even after the surgery he keeps in touch with me and gives me encouragement and much needed advice. I totally trust him.
