Hi! I was banded 1/15/08 and it was a complete success. It look me right at a year but I went from a size 24 to a size 4!! I met the love of my life in 2009 and was married a year later in 2010. In 2011 I became pregnant with our son. My surgeon requires all bands to be emptied during pregnancy. I gained almost 90lbs during my pregnancy. I have a beautiful baby boy and I'm so proud to be his mommy. So, the weight loss starts over! My son was born 3/22/12 and I began my band refill six weeks after his birth. My band is now at 7.75cc in a 10cc band but I've yet to have restriction. When they emptied my band it was at 8cc's. I'm eating under 1200 calories per day and have only lost 4lbs! I'm keeping my chin up because I am an example that the band works when you finally find your sweet spot!!! Let's do this.....again!! :)
