Finally mustered up the courage to write that letter to my insurance about plastics. Now it's wait and see.
I'm sick today. Diarrhea, stomach ache, eyes slightly burning, feeling a bit sub-febrile, being cold all day. Went to the doctor's and got a sick leave until Thursday. Seems kind of silly during vacation but one gets the vacation days back later.

Thank you. I hope I won't have to be a self-pay (though chances are high that I will be, unfortunately). Anyway, I guess it's worth it.
I'm way more afraid of plastics than I was of every other surgery I ever had. Longer surgery time only being one factor. Wound healing another one. And let's not talk about general anesthesia.
Guess I've seen too much complications over the years that are related to whatever-surgery.
