    Protein bars

Free gift? I'm expecting you. 😁

    Protein bars

Was about to ask that as well. Why does it matter?

    Protein bars

Maybe it's a blessing that by far not all VEGA products are sold in Europe, LOL.

    Protein bars

    Plus this, LOL.

    Protein bars

Postings like this are usually meant dead serious on this board and I'm not so sure you were really making a joke.

    Protein bars

    Unfortunately they're also indecently expensive. 😂 💸

ROFL. BMI at 24 since a whole while.

    Protein bars

I like the Vega bars and Clif Builder bars. The No-Cow ones are tasting quite good as well. (food police, don't waste your time to b*tch about the macros, please) However, I rarely have an appetite for them since a whole while. I guess I ate too much of them in the first months after my revision. I always have some bars in my desk for 24 h shifts at work though.

Stop Hard Core Workouts after Surgery

Indeed. Maybe that's why some people think one must exercise hardcore after WLS to be successful. They forget that everyone's different.
  10. It makes me sad because so few people seem to see the benefits you write about. Same with exercise, btw.
  11. Unfortunately one can't tell how many people are experiencing hunger this way. It will always be a blackbox since there is no way to measure and/or quantify this kind of thing. Also "true hunger" signals feel different for different people and that's not making it any easier.
  12. Fasting means no-calories. So technically you're not in a fasted state.
  13. While your mother's success is definitely a great thing it makes me a bit sad that IF is basically broken down to being a weight loss diet all too often.

    Am I a sleeve failure?

You're again losing at 2 lbs per week this time, even a bit more. Should you eat less? Should you measure differently? Should you change anything at all if things are working just fine as they are? Why don't you save possible changes for when things are really not going well? Afraid that "weight loss isn't possible anymore after the honeymoon period is over"? Don't worry. Losing weight after the initial few months is absolutely possible.

    Am I a sleeve failure?

Quite a contradiction. I sometimes wonder what treatment teams are telling their patients regarding "work & effort". I'm sure it's as diverse as the diet recommendations.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

It makes kind of sense for many people though. Same with encouraging people "to eat less". Fat people are encouraged "to eat less". Nobody encourages thin people "to eat less". And why should they?

    "I think you're overdoing it"

This. People who care about you don't want to insult you or make you feel even worse about yourself by pointing out your eating habits or your weight or your sedentary lifestyle (if you have one). "You're exercising too much" is like saying "You're working too much". Neither is usually an insult in our culture. Side rant and hopefully not a hijack: What makes me mad is that people seem to be "concerned and wanting to help" once you get below a certain weight as it seems. "Do you have any eating problems? Are you sick?" - Well, what-da-f*ck, usually nobody asks if one has "eating problems" when a person is fat. 🤬 This. Weight is a very emotional topic. "Fat" is usually used as an insult and not as an attribute.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

I expected you'd be posting something in the range of like 3 hours a day.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

I don't know how long a spin class is but it doesn't sound that much when it comes to time spans, so if the intensity isn't super high most likely you should be fine (however, this is coming from someone who did a lot of exercise earlier in life and who tended to overexercise some years ago, so you might take my opinion with that in mind). It might be the six days a week schedule that rubs people a bit weird.

So how much do you exercise? So far you haven't posted any time spans.

    What The Hell Man

I wonder if that what people feel is actually hunger all the time. Like, maybe feeling hungry twice a day, the rest of the time it's "wanting to eat" but thinking it's hunger? No idea. I doubt I'm the big "no hunger" exception, lol.
  22. If really one indulgence triggered old eating habits to the point that you're struggling now, something went horribly wrong from the beginning.

    What The Hell Man

I rarely feel something that could be interpreted as "physical hunger in the stomach area". The signals seem to be so subtle I usually override them when being busy (as today) and find myself at 15:00 asking myself if to eat or if sitting down with a coffee for break will do it. Sometimes I get a little bit jittery when the day was especially busy but if you'd ask me if I feel hungry I'd probably say no.

    Weight loss in feet?

I didn't lose a size. I'm still a 39.5 or 40 in my shoes which was a blessing because I have truck loads of shoes, ROFL.

    Binge eating-14 months after surgery

Don't feel guilty! You're at a healthy weight and that's the important thing here. Why aim for lower calories?
