  1. Then simply do brag. Don't humble brag. Say "I'm so damn proud I've gotten so thin that an XS is falling off my skinny ass now!" instead of "Oh, this damn vanity sizing!! I can't find clothes because even an XS is too big on me now!" Say "I'm so damn glad I'm only able to eat five bites at a buffet before feeling completely stuffed!" instead of "Oh, buffets are so terrible - I never get my money's worth because I can only eat five bites and I'm like soooo full!" Why try to hide bragging behind something you call a "good problem"?
  2. lol I always thought that's what the OOTD thread was for in the first place.
  3. That's not what I meant. However, I obviously was too offending. I'm sorry about that. That might be bragging but it's not humble bragging (or I missed your humble bragging ) .

    Food Before and After Photos

Food intolerances are so damn weird. I can eat all fruits, doesn't matter which and it's one of the few foods I never had an adverse reaction to.

What is that white thing on your back? A bag?

So tasty and beautiful. It's a shame that so many WLS peeps are shunning fruit because of "carbs".
  8. If it's a constant struggle - why continue this way? Why not looking for an alternative that doesn't leave you struggling?
  9. There are no "good problems". A problem is either a problem and therefore not good or it's not really a problem. So unpopular opinion: there are no good problems - there is only humble bragging.

    Dental issues?

Having some dental trouble recently as well. However, that tooth was filled the first time when I was around ten or twelve years old? That's over 30 years ago. No new cavities since WLS.

    Food Before and After Photos

It's rather boring today and I have no idea why the site doesn't let me alter the size of the pictures.
  13. Pre-/Peri-/Post-op diets vary all over the place. Just be glad.
  14. Hm. Those are unrealistic expectations. Surgery is no magic procedure that makes your TDEE 2000 kcal higher than it used to be.
  15. That's where our opinions differ. IMO people try to be "abstinent" (perfect) and then fail, having never addressed the black-and-white-all-or-nothing thinking.
  16. Fun fact: whenever my boss is on vacation I tend to drop weight, years and years after surgery. High stress job, little time to eat. Part of my meals of the day is usually fruit. The containers I use for a mixed fruit salad holds about 450 g. Sandwiches, wraps, quick bean pasta dishes... everything not-too-unhealthy, tasty and quick - and carbs all the way. It's the calories that makes or breaks it, folks. The calories. Not some magic macronutrient balance.
  17. Maybe I have too much of a caffein addiction habit.

    Food Before and After Photos

Simple dinner. Ugly food love edition. Nom nevertheless.
  19. The pizza, the mental reaction or both?
  20. So? How many calories was that? Why? Eating low carb is not necessary. Low carb is a trend, just like low fat was in the 90s. It's calories that count. Eat less than your body burns and you're going to lose weight, low carb or not. Restricting yourself more than the situation calls for means setting yourself up for burnout without it being necessary No, your body is fighting back. Put a normal weight person who've never had eating issues on a diet like yours and watch them freaking out and getting obsessed with food. Your body needs nutrients - also your mind needs nutrients (yes, that includes macronutrients like carbohydrates as well), even while losing weight.

    Happy with your dietician?

Then what's there much to say or to inquire? You're early out and losing steadily. Nothing special or problematic so far.
  22. The shopping splurges and selfies might be new habits but the others you listed - how are they "habits"?

Excersise is my major lifestyle change?

Well, you're right. There are people living this way. Their opinion is just not as popular so some of us prefer to rather not comment. If it's possible not to worry about weight in the future? I can only speak for myself and I notice the lingering fear in regards to weight gain in the back of my brain so for me it doesn't seem to be possible but that doesn't mean that there are people who have a more relaxed relationship with this. It's definitely not mandatory. That's BS. I'm saying it again: it's not mandatory. Low carb, high protein is just the trend nowadays. Or keto. Some years ago it was low fat. Times simply have changed and they will most likely change again, bringing on the next dietary trend.
