I had surgery on May 2nd. Highest weight 236 Current weight 168. I still can't believe this is me! For the newbies keep on going! This is the best decision I've ever made. -
I am down 50 pounds!! I still don't believe it! I look in the mirror and still see the "Fat" girl. I look at pictures and say "that's not me". I do feel much healthier. Still have about 50 pounds to go. But I'll let my body determine that. Dr says I'm right on track and doing great! I continue to focus on my Protein and Water. I am so happy I decided to have the Gastric Sleeve surgery. No regrets. Best decision ever.

@@ssm I am over 3 months out so I'm on regular food. I eat eggs , yogurt , cheese , fish , chicken. I'm only eating like 4 oz at a time of meat. It's still hard to do. You just chew chew chew and walk if you feel constricted. It's a learning process. How far out are you? Thanks everyone! I'm loving this decision and my Diva Sleeve! She keeps me focused -

Feeling frustrated-Not going to meet the goal
FabFemale posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
At my one month appointment I had lost 25 lbs. My surgeon gave me a goal to lose an additional 25 lbs by my 3 month appointment on 7/29. As the date approaches I am feeling very frustrated and discouraged. I have lost a whopping 8 lbs so far!! 8 POUNDS!! Are you serious!!?? I am getting in my Protein and liquids and started working out with a trainer. Why am I losing so little and so slow?? I have experienced several stalls along the way which I know is common. Please. Any suggestions would be appreciated to help me reach my goal. Surgery date: 5/2/16 HW: 236 CW: 202 -

@@CariC I found my medical policy on their website. It gives you all the requirements. But for me it was bmi 35-39 proof of medically supervised diets and nutritionist and psychological appointments. My surgical team had them on staff which made it easier. Oh and surgeon has to be part of a center of excellence
