    January 20 Sleevers?

Wow that is awesome! Sounds like you're doing great with those. Adding the protein to yogurt is a good idea, I will have to try that.

    January 20 Sleevers?

I was sleeved on Jan 20, too! My surgeon said I could start some puréed foods a little early, was supposed to start them this coming Wednesday but he said I could start them this past Wednesday. I've added a few puréed things, and very slowly as I was quite nervous about it. I can't stand any of my protein shakes now, and can't seem to get enough water or protein in. How are you guys doing with that? Im also getting nauseous frequently, I think because my stomach is often empty.

    4 days post op

I'm 2.5 weeks out and had this a lot in my first week(ish). I spoke to my surgeons office and they said it was completely normal. In most cases it's gas, but could also be due to drinking too fast or too big of sips. I don't have that feeling anymore, and hopefully you won't either! Nothing made it better for me so I don't have any advice besides just get through that first week. I'm dealing with a lot of nausea right now, but my week two has been much better than week one.
  4. Great suggestions, thanks!!
  5. I was sleeved on January 20, 2016 and I have a 6 hour flight coming up next week. I will be 3 weeks post op and will be in my puréed foods stage. I am wondering if anyone has flown at that stage, and what foods I can bring with me to eat at the airport and on the plane. I'm worried that I won't be able to bring food on the plane and that they won't have anything that I can eat. Also ideas on what types of foods I can eat when we go out while I'm away (because the group I will be with will be going out). Any suggestions and advice are appreciated!

    Looking for buddy

Hi Sam! I'm almost 26, started this process at 348, currently 9 days post op, and am familiar with the same depression and food addictions. And heads up, they don't go away after surgery. ???? Well, at least not a week after. I'm here if you want to talk. To make this not entirely depressing, I'll share this bit of exciting information.. At my one week post op weigh-in, I was down 17lbs from my surgery day!????????
