I am 7 weeks out and can eat two scrambled eggs without feeling stuffed...really frustrating cuz I want that full feeling. We just have to be that more diligent in weighing our food. I also notice that I sometimes get full on 1 ounce of food depending on the time if day...good luck to all of us!

How do you guys get your water in?? I can't drink 1/2 an hour before meals and I have to wait 1/2 an hour after meals. It takes me so long to eat that sometimes I finish eating breakfast and it's already lunch time. Also if I drink a shake can I drink water right after...Tips please.

Anyone else a fast eater? I am 14 days post op and just started puree/blended foods. My papers say it should take me 90 minutes to eat but really it only takes me half an hour at most....I need to slow down. Any pointers would help.

effbeingfat replied to kaseybc's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm ten days post op and am experiencing the same thing you are. I can tolerate everything so far and I dont get that full feeling that I thought I would. We are on liquid and mush, maybe when we start real food we will get that full feeling. -
Hungryyyyyyyy
effbeingfat replied to madisunshine1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 9 days post op and on full fluids. I can eat 1/4 cup of cottage cheese without getting that full feeling. Is that normal? I am hungry as well. I can't wait to move on to pureed food as I am so limited right now. -

Hello, I am having surgery on Aug 12th and I am so scared, I hope I am making the right decision. I have high blood pressure and thats about it, I have never been tested for sleep apnea and my Physician feels I dont need to so I am a little worried about surgery. What if I have it and they preform surgery on me?
