Tonight a made a video for a fellow sleeve buddy who was feeling down. She loved it...my husband and i made it for her and we were both happy to make her smile.. I hope that where you are in your journey as you read this you take amoment and smile and enjoy the new you.

My son got tested today he has the flu!!! My surgery is 3/21! I have no symptoms but worried now...so will start on hi vitamin C regiment.

Well my day is fast approaching... Im all set and ready despite a few mortal fears...on monday the 14th i go to the hospital to check in and meet with everyone. I got my vitamins all ready which was not easy believe it or not...march 21st here i come!

See your the ONLY one who gets it so far...the other night my husband and i were talking about how it will probably play out and as soon as it got to the point where u had to say good bye to him cause they were wheeling me away i start to cry!!! My husband is my best friend and my kids my life they need me...my parents died of sep illnesses when i was 19 my babies are 18..i dont want then to go through what i did.

Oh im not afriad of the pain believe me...im not a whimp on pain...my concern is death... Its always a possibility

Bmi is not the only way to get approved my bmi is very low...i also have a small body frame but my heath factors are what tipped the scale...lets put it this way...my surgery is 3/21/2016...they say i will be done with all my weight loss in about 2-3 months max...everyone i have met or seen in these groups (in person support groups mandatory or 2-3x bigger then me and have a long ways to go)

Im have been talking to a few people and I hear many have either new found energy or just energy in general where they never did... Tell me your energy level before and after surgery.

Im not mu surgery is on the 21st of March...i guess part of everything is when i do anything that involves any type of energy i get a migraine...which they say may go away... But i want the energy i once had

For me is my energy level as it was is gone...my heart and intentions are there but the energy is not...and it bothers me so much...

That makes total sense! Although im sure my husband would jump at the chance to sponge bath me lol.

Yay...i guess its case per case? Keep you posted on mine lol... My husband is looking for a support group for only husbands/boyfriends their is none out there...if anyones husband would like to talk to another husband please let me know...

If your look at my picture i posted a few days ago i have extremely long hair...my co worker gonna braid it for me. Ill wear a bandana to keep it nice...so i wont need to wash my hair...i can NOT have a shower this gonna suck...but you can sponge bath right? I have a cpap machine now so i am debating to bring it with me. Yup phone is for sure, chap stick, gas strips etc...i actually live down the street from the hospital so even if i forgot something no big deal....

Ugh!!! Yeah the "devils nectar" is the best i have heard it called. Lol So what did you all take to the hospital? Anything you wish you DID or DIDNOT take?

Thats good to know! Yeah i hear the leak test and the in-between is horrible! How soon did everyone have the leak test done?? Im the first surgery of the day...so trying to get an idea.

Awesome lisa..im sure we will see each other! I keep pushing forward...kinda pissed cause my doctor scale says i lost weight gym one says i gained...no way!!! Sticking to doctor scale!

Really!!! Mayne they changed it i swore she said it was one week...liquids 2/days...piece of cake!!! Lol
