    May 10 sleever San Antonio

Me too, I always eat too fast and it hurts or it comes back up. I can't eat tuna or red meat of any kind, its too rich. I can't drink carbonated drinks at all, still a lot of gas and upset stomach. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

Yes definitely, just did that today, skipped lunch. Congratulations, 12 wks out and am down 45 pounds, still can't eat red meat of any kind unless it is ground up and in Soup. I do better with soft and liquid still. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

Never thought I would say it but now 8 weeks out and haven't lost a pound in a week and a half. Does any one have an idea how to get the metabolism jump started? Nothing has changed still getting in all my Water and 700 to 800 calories per day. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

Corpus Christi / South Texas Sleevers?

My surgery was May 10 in San Antonio. I live in Austin and made it past the first 3 weeks which had to have been the hardest. I feel good other than being tired. Good luck to you this week! Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

What to expect two weeks post op?

On 2 weeks I wasn't feeling so good, still tired and resting alot, I was working but definitely slower than normal. I was still on liquids with cream Soups, not until 3 weeks did I start having puree foods. I am 3.5 weeks out and now eating soft foods. Good luck, everyone is different, it's your journey. Car ride home from hospital

I had mine in San Antonio on May 9 and drove the hr and half back to Austin with a pillow and slept most of the way home, walked a little and went straight to bed when I got home. I woke up every hour and walked around and slept again. We took I30 and it was faster without the stop and start on 35. You're not going to feel a lot on the 1st day. I felt horrible after surgery but they gave me some pain medication before leaving and the next thing I was home. By the way the first 2 weeks are the worse, then it gets a little better everyday. Take it day by day. I was off work 6 days and went back to work on the 7th. Very happy I did it. Sent from my GT-N5110 using the BariatricPal App

48 hours afterwards. Was it a mistake?

No, not a mistake. I'm 3 weeks out and feeling great. The first 2 weeks were tough because of pain and starvation pains. Once I went into the 3rd week, I feel pain free and not starving anymore. Hang in there! Sent from my GT-N5110 using the BariatricPal App

I need to know it gets better!

Me too had surgery on Tuesday May 10th and thinking it was a huge mistake. I'm so gassy and bloated and tired. I'm walking all the time and burp the whole time I'm walking. Is that normal?Me too May 10 also, feeling hungry and sore. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

I need to know it gets better!

I was sleeved on Tuesday also. I have had terrible hunger pains I have no regrets because I realize when I go through this first week it's going to get better. I don't know about head hunger because my stomach is growling like it's hungry, it feels like its hungry. I'm weak and the first 2 days very shakey. I am walking but it hurts to get up and down from bed or a chair. I think overall that I feel better than I expected to. I have my first post op dr appt this coming week so i guess i'll be able to check my weight at that time, otherwise not bothering with the scale. I'm very happy so far, not that much nausea just weak and sore which is expected. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

    Swallow or crush pills?

I am also 4 days post op and am crushing mine. Are you hungry? I feel like I'm starving my stomach is growling like it needs food. I started adding watered down cream of mushroom Soup to my diet, not clear liquid but thicker and makes my stomach feel like its full. Sent from my GT-N5110 using the BariatricPal App
