    Pain from fill

I went back to my doctors office and requested the original nurse and all was well. It took 2 weeks for the pain to go away from the previous fill. This last one was great. No pain and I've not needed another fill in over a month. I think I'll be at this amount for a while. Can't imagine any more being put in or I'd be too tight.

Anyone gone through menopause AFTER the surgery?

I had my surgery in January 2016. I've had signs of perimenapause for about 2 years - periods months apart. I had my last period before my surgery 3 months ago. I lost 35 pounds since the preop diet. Then 2 weeks ago, the hot flashes came during the day and night, causing me not to sleep well. My weight loss came to a halt. I just had a fill yesterday, my 4th, and I'm still hungry and craving things I haven't eaten in months. Anyone found a solution to this?

any tips for meals or how to add more protein?

I drink a premier shake every day for breakfast since my preop diet till now. I feel good getting 30 grams of Protein in before I start my day. I always include 3 oz of meat, usually poultry, for lunch and dinner and a lite yogurt for a snack. Keeping track of everything I plan to eat in MyFitnessPal app has helped keep my protein in focus so at the end of the day, I know I've reached my goal.

    Pain from fill

I was banded on January 29th 2016 and got my third fill last week. It was only .7ccs. My first 2 fills were 2ccs each done by the same lovely nurse. This last one was done by a different nurse who jabbed the needle into what I believe must be scar tissue around my port. The first nurse never hurt me, in fact, I barely felt a thing. I am still having sharp pains when my pants or anything presses on that area. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I plan to request my original nurse from now on. I'm scheduled for another appointment next week and am not sure I could handle the needle.

    Ticking clock.

Going in tomorrow morning at 7:30am for my surgery. It's been a worthwhile journey so far. I hope all goes well for you.
