@@bb8 you are so right, why is this surgery so different then other surgeries with perceptions and stigmas and judgement. It's kinda crazy to think about that way. I hate that "people" in general are so judgemental. -

Which clinic is that? The one I am using is 1 night in MX, 2 nights in hospital and then another night in MX before going back across the boarder. -
What Doctor are you going to? I'm wanting to go to TJ as well! I'm very curious as to your doctor because I'm still so new! Any info on Mexico WLS would be so helpful! There is tons of great info in the Mexico Self Payers area

Considering in weight a LOT, in sure people will figure it out when the weight starts dropping quite fast. However, I have told no one except my husband and don't plan to tell anyone else either. If it comes up, I'll assess who it is and how I feel on that moment. It won't stay a secret forever, but right now this is my journey and I don't want it in the open. -

I am hoping for a March surgery date and don't presently have any tattoos...but for years I have been planning to get one when I take a vacation in a few weeks. Is this a bad idea? I really want a specific tattoo from a specific place (where I'm going on vacation soon)... It will be quite a small tattoo and it will be on my wrist. Is this a bad idea?? -

This is such an odd post to stumble upon because an hour ago I just ordered a new scale off Amazon LOL I wish I had seen this before I placed my order so that I could have looked into the ones that everyone has shared! Darn it! haha -
I've seen a lot of posts about hernias but in confused as to why it cokes up so much in discussions about WLS. Can't anyone shed some light?
