    Feb 23 Sleevers!

My rating if a lot different than the first month. For the first two weeks I was on clear liquids and the two weeks following I was on full liquids. I haven't really found anything this my new stomach can't handle. I had to start adding vegetables and greens in sooner than expected because my gallbladder did not like all the proteins in my system. Congratulations on your weight loss! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

How is everyone doing? It has been radio silent on this page for a while. We are coming up on three months and I have lost 50lbs. Wish it was more but you know slow and steady wins the race.

    Feb 23 Sleevers!

Soooooo, Friday I woke up and my belly was so distended I looked pregnant! Went to see my surgeon and was informed that my gallbladder didn't like all the protein I was eating. He recommended I incorporated leafy greens and more fat of all things. He told me to do a little cleanse for a day and I will be all good. All the bloating is gone.

    Feb 23 Sleevers!

I went back to the gym yesterday after almost a year absence. I have been walking/jogging since surgery so in some aspects it's like I haven't left. Debating on getting a trainer...

I stalled also. I didn't know if it was from the constipation issue but I have gone past both now. I discovered if I added a little more fat to my diet I became "regular" again. I went out for the first time last Wednesday with some friends and it was harder than I thought it would be. I love my Irish whiskey and beer, and not being able to have any for a while kinda kills me.

Pardon me if this is a little too much, but has anyone been really constipated? lol I have tried everything... Stool softeners, laxatives, tea. Only have a BM about once a week. I don't have a blockage or anything of the sort (Dr at work checked me out). I've heard the sleeve drastically changes your regularity but darn it. lol

    Crackers?

I have had Fat Free Ritz crackers and haven't had a problem. You just have to make sure you chew very, very well.

Why thank you! I work 15 hour days overnight so eating all what I a supposed to is really hard. The green stuff is hummus. Than in the middle is chicken salad made with low fat mayo. The little container at the bottom with chicken strip looking this is a Beyond Meat dish. Beyond Meat is a faux meet product made of soy and pea Proteins (really tastes like chicken. texture and everything). Its killer good and has 25g of Protein per 4oz. And than the brown stuff is a Mexican chicken dish I made in the crockpot with kidney, black Beans, onion, red/green pepper and chipotle sauce. Nice soft high protein meals. Oh and I found those little Babybell cheese wheels and two strawberries make a wonderful snack.

Hopefully this meal prep helps me get in what they recommend for soft solids. I hope I can get it all in. The emergency room is very hectic so I have to make time to eat...

    Feb 23 Sleevers!

I went back to my full time job on Thursday, and my little part time gig las Tuesday. I tell ya, getting back into the swing of things and 14 hour ER shifts was tough. Especially when you really don't have time to take breaks to eat or drink anything. By last night it was better. I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well!

Since surgery?! Thats impressive! I've only done about 15lbs myself. Way to freaking go! Is mushies like puree?Kinda. Things blenderized to just a little thicker than baby food texture. Mashed potatoes, refried Beans. That kinda thing. They said I could have soft scrambled eggs but ugh. I never have had indigestion and this was bad lol

    Feb 23 Sleevers!

I found it much easier to get the fluids in at the hospital too. At home, I worked really hard yesterday and I was only able to get 41 ounces Thts a great idea well today i saw my doctor she started me on Protein shakes I have to drink a shake every 2 1/2 hours and it's so hard right now I'm hungry ugh it's so hard. At least I lost 16 pounds. That would have been a struggle for me without the sleeve 16 pounds so far is awesome!! I have lost 12 so far. How about everyone else? I feel like once I start eating solids I may gain a pound just because there will be food in my stomach but I'm good with that. Feeling great today and water and broth is going down so much easier today than in the past. I start work again on Thursday but from home for a week instead of the office. I'm already restless. If I was off any longer I would be working on home repairs and probably hurt myself. Im at just over 10 lbs so far! Getting all the water in is still a challenge. Working on it though. Found if I mixed my s/f chocolate pudding with the vanilla unjury powder and freezing it make for a lovely treat. Getting super tired of the shakes though. Glad everyone seems to be doing well!

    Feb 23 Sleevers!

The first day was horrid. Could not get my pain under control! After that I have been walking around and consuming a majority of the liquids required... Until today. I'm a super nauseous, can't stand the smell of the shakes any longer, and super tired. Hopefully it's just a bad day.

    February 2016 sleevers?

No he didn't. It's not terribly bad. If it persists I will ask him at my follow up appointment next week. It really only happens when "Audrey" is hungry lol

    February 2016 sleevers?

It's been four days since my surgery. I have been home since Thursday. Today was the only day I woke up in a little bit of pain but not much. It has been harder than I thought it would be to take in the required liquids and such, but I'm doing it. Kinda get this reflux thing when my new stomach is empty and its hungry. Lol It like the plant from Little Shop of Horrors; "Feed me Seymour"! I hope everyone is doing well.

    February 2016 sleevers?

Had my surgery yesterday. Let me tell ya it was rough! Today is much much better. If y'all haven't had it done yet ask for the anti-nausea patch for behind your ear. Works wonders! I have been up waking around like an Olympic athlete. Able to tolerate water and a bit of jello. Hope everyone is doing well!
