Hi, what I'm going through is my own fault but I'm worried about slippage.. I had my 3rd fill last week and I was taking it real slow and then last night I was starving and I ate a piece of chicken to fast. I slimed soooo much then chicken came back up and since then I can't keep anything down. I'm in a lot of pain too. It felt like heartburn so I tried to eat some fat free ice cream thinking it would soothe the pain/acid but nope, I slimed after that too and it seems like it is worse now. How do I know if my band slipped during all my throwing up last night? Thanks so much for any help. i'm really worried. I've never had acid reflux before so not sure what it is supposed to feel like or not feel like and is it common to have heartburn this bad after throwing up a lot? Thanks again.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone gets B 12 shots? If so, does it work? My weight loss is at a stand still but I'm doing everything like I'm supposed too so I think I need a kick start. Thanks

5 c.c. sounds like a lot. I had my 3rd fill on Wends. and now I am at 2.5 cc and it's pretty tight. I have to chew my food soooo much it makes it almost not worth eating, lol. I PB alot more now and even throw up if I eat to fast or wrong stuff (chicken mainly). Glad you are feeling better goofygirl~ hang in there.

Hi, I'm in TX too (San Antonio). After your Dr. gets the ok from the insurance company it moves VERY fast, well it did for me. I think if your insurance already said "yes" then your surgery can be as soon as you and the Dr. find a date and time good for both of you. I was nervous too but I am SOOOOOOOO glad I just sucked it up and did i. I have ZERO regrets. Well except that I would eat as healthy as I did a month ago, lol. Best of luck. Oh, who's your Dr.?

symptoms of Esophagus dialation or band slippage
ronwifey replied to Carla K's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi, sorry to hear you are having so many problems with your band. I was just seeing if you went to your Dr. yet? If so what did he say? Hope all is well. -
:thumbdown:Ok first I want to say that I know I am stupid! I ate a fricken candy bar today. AM I KIDDING????? Oh and a small chocolate shake this weekend. Not to mention the past couple days I started snacking (DR's ORDERS---->A NO-NO) I am so disgusted with myself. After how much I try to fight the temptation and how hard it is for me to go to the gym everyday but I do.... I go and eat a candy bar and shake and ruin everything! I ate it slowly so it would go down and then cried . ARGH!!!! Why cry now fat pig, that's what I kept telling myself. My friend said it's because I'm on my period and I do have terrible PMS but I never have had cravings since my surgery like I do now. It's like I'm posessed or something. I feel totally awful and feel like I won't be able to control myself anymore. I really feel like a drug addict..... I went to rehab and WAS doing so good and then I just fell off the wagon! How can I have the strength now to get back up, dust myself off and do this? What is worse then anything is that I'm scared now.....my will power is gone:ohmy:. I'm actually really scared. WHAT HAVE I DONE? I feel like such a failure.

Hi.... I was wondering how all my 3/3/08 friends were doing. My weight loss is going pretty much like yours.....slow, so I don't know what to tell you, lol. Just don't be like me this weekend and cheat . I joined the gym too recently and actually like it. I posted a before and after pic on another thread but I'll attach it here too. BTW...I think you are look'n really, really good!

I'm curious too to know what size band I have too, lol! I have had 2 fills. First fill was 1 cc and last fill was another cc. My first fill was not enough but after my second fill (last Thrsday) I feel the restriction big time. I PB and throw up if I even think about eating to fast and not chew good. It's a very very painful feeling. Before this fill I could just about eat anything I wanted to too, don't worry....as soon as you get another fill (it may take 3 or 4 even) you will feel the restriction. 12 pounds is not bad at all for 1 month post op. IT WILL GET BETTER, believe me.

He will be a good 204b and then supervisor because he has carried mail. It's the supervisors that are cluless of the carriers' day in and day out jobs and duties that really pi$$ me off. Thanks again for the compliment.

Thank you. When I put these 2 pics next to eachother I FINALLY felt that this thing is actually working. One thing to see it on the scale but when I look in the mirror I don't see it. Screw the mirror I'll look at these pictures, lol! Yes I work for the good ole' USPS> Thank God I don't carry mail anymore. I have a very nice M-F.... 6 hour a day job and believe it or not I LOVE my supervisors. LOL

I got my second fill today. He told me he put in 1cc last time and today he put in another 1cc. Shouldn't it be filled more by now? TIA

Gel (solar) nails during surgery
ronwifey replied to Claudine1975's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
HI, I have the same nails as you and I didn't have to take them off. They couldn't have missed them either because I had an I.V. in my hand. (OUCH) BTW, do you like the gel better then the pink cream they put on and then buffed out? -
Major Diarrhea 4 days post-op
ronwifey replied to devotion's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
HI. I had the same thing. My Dr. said it was normal and told me "let it all come out" and told me don't take anything to stop it unless it lasts for over a week. Once you are allowed to change your diet it will be better. Congrats on your weight loss.:wink2: -
HI, you are not alone. It seems that the more fattening it is the easier it will probably go down. I fight with this all the time. It's very hard. I make sure nothing is around the house for me to cheat. I get chocolate sugar free pudding and sugar free popsicles and that seems to do the trick for me. Oh but how I miss 3 musketeers...... and DQ Blasts.......... I have to stay focused and I have to just stay strong....as hard as it is. You can do this, we all can, one day at a rime.
