    Gastro-gastric fistula

Hi, I am actually going to have a CT Scan today to see if I have a fistula. I've heard they can fix it with an endoscope which is what I would prefer. I definitely want to have it fixed if that is what it is because I am so hungry all the time. I didn't go through all the complications (a lot of the same ones as you) to be hungrier than I was before surgery. Are you hungry? They seem to think some of my food is going into my big stomach. Brandnewangel, what did they find with yours?
  2. Thanks everyone, I think I will have it removed to save the trouble of another surgery. You guys are the best!
  3. My doctor has suggested removing my gall bladder during my gastric bypass. Has anyone else had this done? I have one stone now but it doesn't really bother me but both my surgeon and my PCP said it's common to get gall stones when losing a lot of weight. Would you recommend this or weight until I actually need my gall bladder removed?
  4. HI! I am 56 and am planning on surgery May 6. I've been anxiously awaiting to see if my psychologist approved me, she was supposed to get back to me on Friday but didn't. I'm very nervous about the whole process but it helps to read the posts and see people my age going through the same process. I worry because I've been overweight for 20 years and whenever I start losing, I kind of panic and stop whatever I did to lose the weight. And of course gain it back. But I am ready to get my health back. One thing I wanted to mention about pain, I found when I went gluten free, the pain in my back went away, something to do with inflammation caused from gluten. Might be something to try.
