  1. I had terrible reflux and almost constant vomiting as well for the first three weeks post op and magically once I hit three weeks it stopped. I hate to sound like an expert I'm a month and a day out but hang in there. When I was suffering (I had a ROUGH three weeks) I thought there was no end in sight.
  2. I lost 34 pounds in three weeks. Then didn't budge for a week and a half. I reset myself basically-made sure that I got fluids and protein, stepped up my walks/runs and started a little weight training and dropped three pounds in a few days so far. Just keep doing what you are doing. It's a marathon not a sprint.
  3. I can't seem to delete something that I posted in error. So hey y'all.
  4. I am 26 days post op and down 34 pounds
  5. I take my synthroid at 6:30 when I am leaving the house. I take my first round of vitamins at around 10:30 when I have my mid morning tea. My endo says that is perfect

I totally feel you. I want to be up front and honest but I'm not quite ready to shout from the rooftop. It's tricky!

    Down 70Ibs

My surgery was three weeks ago today and I'm down 34 pounds. My surgeon says it's ok considering I was carrying a lot of excess water pre op due to other conditions. As long as your surgeon says it's cool rock it! You look amazing!!!

Girrrllll I feel you! I am Italian from New Jersey too and three weeks post op today. I have a baptism next weekend and I'm already planning in my head what's going to happen. I figure I'm going to bring a protein shake with me and politely decline the waiter. If it's buffet even better. However, this will be my first time out and about with a large group of people (you know how it is no such thing as small gatherings) so I'm a little nervous about questions that might come my way. Just stay true to yourself and your goal and it will all be ok!

    New to the site.

    I'm March 10th too!
  12. Hi, I'm new here and I must say that reading what everyone else is going through has definitely helped me get through this! I am so frustrate. I did all of my requirements, followed up many times to make sure my surgeons office has everything they need (Aetna in nj) and they have told me since two weeks ago that my I for would be submitted to insurance. I called insurance feeling inspired by the quick turn around times some of y'all have posted about and they haven't received anything. I called the surgeon and left a message with his nurse and the person who handles authorizations and what not and no one has called me back. I just needed to vent to people wo understand my frustration. I just want to start my journey!
