SHOTzY*

I'm SHOTzY-I'm a pre operative gastrict bypass patient. I will have my surgery on feb 8, 2016. I've waited 10 months to be approved by insurance. Insurance required many months is compliant behavior and dr screening visits before they will pay. Gratefull they will. I have a serious spinal injury and collateral damage that happened to me in March of 2014. The surgeons cannot do the repairs with my current weight; it will tear apart and I'll be paralyzed they have explained. This really opened my eyes that my weight wasn't just something to joke about or put up with or just accept. It was killing me and ruining my life. So I did something about it, and that has led me here and to my beginning of my journey !I'm a realist, pragmatic and I guess a little cynical at times. I'm an animal lover and supporter of their rights and welfare. I love to cook for my friends and family. I'm pretty much just a small town person from traditional values with a very open and accepting mind. Just because your small town, doesn't mean you have to have a small mind and narrow views, or be intolerant of others and their right to their beliefs. That's me.
