When did you guys go back to the gym after surgery? What was your progression of working out? The only thing I've really been told is to not lift weights for 6 months. I used to do about 45-60 minutes of elliptical 3-5 times per week and a Zumba or Yoga class. I miss it! I was sleeves 3/28/16 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@jenn1 I have been walking every day with my dogs, just thinking I feel ready to go back to the gym and do more cardio workouts. I never received any resistance bands, but I'll look into that. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Yay I'm happy for you! I weighed myself this morning and again no loss, 5th day in a row it's so frustrating seeing the same number, down to the ounce!! I'm trying to not get discouraged but it's hard. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

YES! I had some mild discomfort the first week and a half and then all of a sudden under my biggest incision I started getting awful searing pain! It felt like my muscles were tearing apart I swear. It's been about a week now and it's finally calming down but still having discomfort. My friend who had her sleeve done last year told me it goes away around week 4 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Oh and I used an ice pack on the site the days it was really painful, and that helped Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Does anyone else feel this way: What if it doesn't work for me?
emiroo replied to auroradawn's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Me too! I've been overweight since I was 9 or 10 and already wth this first stall (3 weeks out) I am dreading that I got sleeved and will still be morbidly obese forever, and that I'll look like an idiot going through all this for nothing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
my 3 week stall is annoying me

I'm on my 3 week stall too, and it's such a bummer. Knowing that everyone says it's normal doesn't make it feel any better! -

I had surgery 3/28/16 and have lost 31 lbs... but I've been at the same weight for the last 4 days. I know everyone says during week 3 you hit a stall, but it's still disheartening when all I have been on full liquids for three weeks.
