Sounds like a wonderful idea

Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion but if everything you have to say is negative then nobody wants to hear it. I don't care if this is public or not.
-
So basically you agree with everyone that posted negatively about the OP, you just didn't like how they said it. The topic was whether or not to use GoFundMe as a source of funding for a non-essential surgical procedure. I and others thought that was a tacky idea and something you, yourself claim you would never ever do.I'm saying don't judge. I wouldn't do it but I'm not going judge her or speak badly to her if she chooses to. My real issue is with the woman who I've noticed trolls posts and responds negatively to everyone. It's uncalled for.

I agree. Hard work is essential and I will teach my children the same values. Nothing is free in the land of the free.

I bet these are the same people who would refuse chemo to a cancer patient because he/she could no longer afford treatments. Heartless

I never ever ask anyone for anything. Ever. I'd rather starve to death than ask someone (family or other) for a cracker or $1 for a McDonald's mcchicken sandwich because I don't like anyone to have anything they can hang over my head. More over, I don't want anyone judging me, questioning what I do, asking me for money etc.... If hubby and I can't make it happen then it won't get done. I'm saying this as I've been homeless, penniless and hopeless. I picked myself up and did what I had to do on my own. I've been working for years, paying into a medical plan "and all that jazz" too...so. It's not anyone's place to judge. I'm sure you've been made fun of and judged a few times In your life...did you like it? Why do people feel the need to be so negative and sarcastic all the darn time.

wow. What happened to the good old days when people kept their mouths shut and kept scrolling if they didn't have anything nice to say? I guess those days have long gone and passed. I'm planning to have my surgery next month in Mexico as well. Which Doctor did you decide to go with?

They really supply everything. I wore the same clothes home I wore to the hospital with the exception changing my panties. I was only in the clothes about 1.5 hours before surgery. Take as little as possible. The only thing I used that I brought along with me, was my phone and lip balm. They provided everything else for me. I didn't even need lip balm really. When I woke up my lips were dry and the recovery nurse put vaseline on them for me. I was only in the hospital about 26 hours. she even greased your lips! wow wonderful service -

I've told my two best friends who live 1000+ miles away and of course my husband knows. I will tell everyone else that I am on a healthy journey (which isn't a lie). I just don't want to deal with any judgment etc.. I also don't want to answer any questions. -
I'm right after you on the 18th! Starting to get excited. Congratulations and best wishes.

Is your PCP located in N. Dallas? I am looking for someone to care for me after I return from Mexico as well (new to Texas/N. Dallas so I don't currently have one). -

Was anyone breastfeeding when they had their surgery? Did you stop? -
They dont allow US kids in the room but they will take US currency. Lol. Interesting. I asked my coordinator and he said it wouldn't be a problem. I'm supposed to have mine at florence. I guess I better ask again.

for sanitation issues. That doesn't sound right. If Maybe I need to re think having surgery somewhere that worries themselves with a newborn being in my hospital room.

That makes me feel better. You hear that US doctors don't want to touch you if you have surgery outside of the us. Congratulations on your success. -
Congratulations! You look beautiful (before and after)
-
How is everyone doing now that it's been several years since your surgeries? I'm planning mine for 2/18 in Mexico.
