Giant bundle of nerves...help
Joann454 replied to Aijan's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I had surgery in Roanoke Va. Dr Lucktong. -
Four days out. My worst experience was vomiting first night home. Guess I'll have to update as I go along.
-
Oh no. Was this something you suffered with before. That's the opposite of what one wants to feel after this. So sorry.

I had Lucktong in Roanoke. Excellent surgeon.

Giant bundle of nerves...help

Did you not have to do a preop liver shrink diet? I almost walked out while waiting for surgery. It got delayed and although I'm no superstitious in the least I decided it was a sign and we should leave and go to Waffle House. I started crying and freaking out. They came right when I was in peak panic and got me. I had the surgery and woke up so happy. Don't allow nerves to rob you of your dreams. -
There is nothing about that that sounds yummy lol. I'll wait. Thank you though!
-
Well, it's finally here. Surgery is at noon tomorrow. Eek! Clear liquids today, bag is all packed (two night stay). See you all on the other side!
-
Makes sense. I wanna pick at mine so bad. They itch. I won't though!
-
I feel like it's at least purée. I'm going to ask. I can't believe I want to eat it. Four days post op lol
-
I forgot I had this am I'm going to try it right now! Thanks
-
So glad you're home. Staples? I just have glue. Ouch! Rest up.

I watch the Bears because my wife is from Iowa and that's her team. She thanked me last year for bringing the Pats into her life. She suffers with her Bears. I wanted to punch Cutler every Sunday. Gawd!
-
I used my fear of complications as motivation. Like, big fat liver could get injured during surgery Since I'm a huge baby it worked well!
-
I wonder if the move will be a good thing for the Raiders. I hope you have a good year. I always feel bad for fans when it's been brutal for them. Could be worse, at least you're not a Bears or Browns fan
-
Yeah, I remember routing hard for the Broncos in that super bowl but they were blown out. You guys had a great run. I hear you with Lynch. I still think the Raiders season was a fluke but who knows. Can't wait for the season to start already!

I get it. I will thank Moe Lewis forever for taking out Bledsoe. I liked Drew but he is no Brady. Brady didn't steal his job. He won it. But is hate them too if I wasn't a fan. I remember hating the Cowboys just because they won all the time. I still can't believe Pete didn't call a run on that Butler interception. I can imagine that hurt. I thought you guys had it.
-
You guys!
-
Lol! Well they are pretty sweet to watch. Especially in a couple of AFC games I recall in the past. *ducks*

Being born and raised on Cape Cod I've been a Pats fan since way before Brady. No pink hat fan here. He and Belichick will retire soon enough and they'll go back to a middle of the pack team. It's been a great ride for me! Sorry the thread got hijacked!
-
Who do you follow? I'm a Pats fan, let the hate flow.
-
Ooh! Ok that makes sense. I expect this to happen to me too. Yay! At least I have a fun name for it now.

I had mine on May 22 and I'm feeling pretty darn good. I am sore but no pain. Like I did crunches. The second night was rough but still manageable. I had some nausea and did throw up. Honestly I expected much worse. You'll be so thrilled when you have this behind you! Best wishes and let us know how you did!

Pardon my ignorance but what's creepy skin? Is it a nickname for loose skin or something else?
