Hello,My name is Maryann, I had the gastric sleeve December 14, 2015 two days before my birthday, happy birthday to me...lol. anyway at my highest weight 396 lbs Dr. Woodbury (SURGEON) told me I was going to die if I kept going in the unhealthy path I was on. At that moment I had already made my mind up to change, now at that moment I didn't know how much change was required but I did what I had to do. He told me I had to loose 50lbs before he would even consider doing surgery, after failing and hitting goals for a year I finally got the 50 pounds off. Its been a journey but nothing like what I'm experiencing now....I'm almost 4 weeks post op I'm 25 pounds down so far and a long way to go, it's really hard living with family who still makes bad choices in food choices, but thank God I have this wonderful tool, even if I wanted to eat like I used to I just can't. I'm learning a lot about myself and I attend support groups regularly, I will soon start the gym now that I can move better now. I found this website online just searching, so glad I did, and the store is wonderful!!!! I look forward to reading everyone success and will share mines too. Good luck to everyone. And Happy New Year.
