Are There Any Single Sleevers Out There..

4 months post op. Age 27 and single and hating it. I hate dating ugh. I'm loving this new found self confidence though. I feel and look better! Definitely getting a lot more attention from men although don't get asked out much [emoji19]
  3. I take the sublingual b12 from Costco

    Keeping surgery a secret?

I got my surgery a month and a half ago and my SO is the only person that knows. He's the one I go to to rant and discuss this whole journey with. Everytime someone mentions my noticeable weight loss I saw I am constantly exercising and eating a high protein low carb diet which is technically the truth. It's your body your personal business.
  5. Hope everyone is doing well!! I'm down 22 pounds from May 16th. Feeling good for the most part. Sticking to low carb high protein meals. Easy on sugary stuff as I already experienced the dreaded "dumping syndrome" [emoji17] getting in protein is Struggle but I'm getting better day by day
  6. 16 pounds down since surgery day! Transitioning into solid foods was easy !
  7. I had mine may 16 and I've still haven't gotten a bowel movement. I had milk of magnesia couple hours ago and still nothing

    Recovery time

I'm gonna try that !! Thanks
  9. Chewable gas x may help... It helped me. It gets better in a matter of days! Hang in there... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App Thank you! I sure hope so! I've been using Gasx strips and nothing is touching this discomfort yet..... I'm going through the exact same thing! I'm on hydrocodone and it makes me feel vey drowsy so I'm sleeping most of the time. Barely time to get liquids in! The struggle !

    Recovery time

As cliche as it may sound... You need to walk.. And walk and walk some more..buy day 5 my Gas was gone.. Get rest but sip and walk .. That was the only relief ! I'm 1 week post op..That Gas pain was real... How much walking is enough? I'm having trouble standing up straight as it is

    Recovery time

I'm currently 1 day post up. Gas pains are a b****!! How did you guys handle this ? Hurts to swallow and barely passing anything down. Hope this phase doesn't last that long [emoji30]
  12. I got released today. 430 pm but I could have stayed well into the evening if I wanted to.
  13. Today is the day after my surgery. I had a really rough time recovering from the anesthesia was put on morphine really quick. Gas pains and soreness is real. This whole recovery process so far is more painful than I thought it would be I've been drugged up most of the time pushing my morphine drip every 15 minutes or so. Liquids are tough going down. Literally only half a teaspoon everytime. Trying to stay positive here in the hospital watching movies etc. -reporting from Los Angeles, CA kaiser permanente
  14. Good luck to you kmorri!!! About to check in myself! Let's keep eachother updated !!
  15. Tomorrow for me too!! Check in time 945. The nerves are starting to set in!! Greetings from Los Angeles !!
