thanks for the reply. That is the same scale I have but I have never been 45 to 60% I guess I will have to work on it now that I know.

I have a scale that tells me what percentage of my weight is water weight. But I don't remember what that percentage should be and can't find the papers that came with it. Can anyone help me with this?

HI everyone I was banded on Jan 29 and today I was worried because I wanted to eat like I used to. Iknow that this is not an overnight process and you need to wait for your first fill sometimes for it to work but today I have had a lot of liquids and can't seem get full. I have been reading all the postings and know I am not the only one with this. I just worry that maybe this can't work for me because nothing else has ever stopped me from eating. I am having my lapband on Jan 29 and am calling drs and trying to find one to do a fill in my area. Did anyone have problems finding a fill dr.? I am having my surgery done in MI and live in Northern IL The drs I called want up to $400 just for new pts. If I have to drive up to MI to get a fill I can handle that.

11 days til I get banded and I can't imagine not wanting to eat like there is no tomorrow. Or not being very hungry. Counting down

I only have 10 days to go before I get my band. I am getting real excited and can't wait to get it done. one of the quotes I read in the forum was "I eat to live not live to eat" I don't remember who posted it but I agree with it

You are right they did not have one but they were in the medical field years ago so I thougt I would ask. this is a really good site for info Thanks

I am getting banded in Detroit MI on Jan 29 and am really getting excited. One thing that bothered me is that someone told me they take the band out in a year. Is this true, I hope not. Thanks I will be visiting here a lot
