    Lap band surgery was 2/1/2016 having my Band tighten on 3/2/2016, i can't wait. i feel like I'm more hungry now and feel like eating more things. So far i only lost 14 pounds. Has anyone else has gotten tighten recently and how are you feeling?

    Hey Guys, I just had my surgery on 2/1/2016 and i can honestly say its going Great! i noticed that i can have more than 2oz per serving. I'm currently on Clear liquid diet, i should drink 2oz every 20 minutes. Which includes, Water, Protein shake, clear broth, Jello, decaf tea and coffee. My follow up appointment is on 2/8/2016. But i can actually drink about 6-8 ounces and get full but not to the point of wanting to vomit. I hope my Band is not to big. Has thing happened to anyone else?

    I had my surgery 2/1/2016 and i been home since 2/2/16, its been really good. Not much pain, but i have been really swollen. Today i woke up with more energy and def less swollen. i keep drinking liquids 2oz every 20 minutes. I'm excited about the end result

    I just joined this site not long ago, i have a schedule date for Lapband surgery 2/1/2016. Im not feeling nervous at all very excited for iit.

      It's an amazing journey. I had mine done on the 9th of December and I'm already down ~20 lbs. The only thing that you have to watch out for is the liquid diet that they put you on pre-op and post-op.

      My sister in law had the lap band surgery about 5 years ago and has managed to keep the weight off. Congrats on your weight loss, can't wait for my journey to start. i have an apt next week to go over everything before the surgery
